Leo @leoos.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Is there any alternative. I've never got the hang of how mastodon is supposed to work. Back to tumblr? 110

Leo @leoos.bsky.social · 01/10/2026bog-body.bandcamp.com/album/cryoni... This Bog Body album is my discovery of the year. And it came out in 2022. It sounds like they decided the sound of early Prophecy of Doom was the vibe they wanted to explore in the studio. Unreal for a 2 piece band. #nowplayingbog-body.bandcamp.comCryonic Crevasse Cult, by BOG BODY8 track album 000
Leo @leoos.bsky.social · 22/09/2026I have been listening to this album on an ongoing basis since 1991. I still think it's too notch stuff today. Thrash death metal just how I like it #nowplaying 000
Leo @leoos.bsky.social · 19/09/2026mortprod.bandcamp.com/album/hail-h... Imaginary Sonic scape blew my mind when it came out. So good I never really listened to anything else a lot. I deleted over 1000 albums from my mp3 player including any Sigh after 2001. I never heard this before yesterday. Its great. #nowplayingmortprod.bandcamp.comHail Horror Hail 恐怖万岁, by Sigh19 track album 000

Leo @leoos.bsky.social · 05/09/2026nuxvomicaband.bandcamp.com/album/nux-vo... Absolutely the best crusty hardcore album I heard. Epic in scope. So much sludge thrown into the pot here. #nowplayingnuxvomicaband.bandcamp.comNux Vomica, by Nux Vomica3 track album 010

Leo @leoos.bsky.social · 04/09/2026This slipped in through the death metal firewall back in the early 90's and has become one of a handful of thrash albums I still listen to, along with some Atrophy, Overkill and even a bit of Xentrix occasionally #nowplaying 010
Leo @leoos.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Bethlehem - Dark Metal The guy at work who gave me this on loan also gave me a Blind Guardian album at the same time. I'd already heard the third Bethlehem album before this. That was a magic carpet ride. Anyway this is more doom based and more structured. Dictius Te Necare remains my favourite 000
Leo @leoos.bsky.social · 01/09/2026G.G.F.H. - Eclipse Wonderfully weird and basic industrial from the early 90s. There was a rumour they would play my hometown but that and Ghost making it never happened So many metallers into these lads because they were on a Peaceville sub label along with the likes of Kong and Ship of Fools 010
Leo @leoos.bsky.social · 30/08/2026The first 2 Atrocity albums were great. I listened to this one way more as I had it on cassette and the debut on LP. Early 90s European death metal had so many great and possibly mostly for forgotten releases.. #nowplaying #deathmetal 000

Leo @leoos.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Hey AI, make me an Ed Repka type album cover and incorporate a radioactive snail that's about the size of Godzilla, thank you very much. Job done. Now can I think of a better name than radioactive snails for my AI one man thrash band? - That's where we are now more or less. 070
Leo @leoos.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Check out: Electroretard • Melvins #Symfonium I listened to this album so much in 2002/03. Now I can't remember if I had it on CD, a burned CD-R, tape or maybe even mp3. I think I had the original CD. No idea where I got it. All Melvin's albums are quirky in their own way. I like this one a lot. 010

Leo @leoos.bsky.social · 16/08/2026Check out: Live in Brooklyn NY • Winter #Symfonium I've been listening to Winter since the early 90s. The demo recording was something special. I got to see them in 2011 at Roadburn. It was so deadly. As is this recording. I don't feel the newer band Goden as much 110
Leo @leoos.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Heat waves all summer. Its wall to wall clouds outside for me right now. Hopefully it will clear. 020
Leo @leoos.bsky.social · 03/08/2026I got to see Stampin' Ground last night approximately 26 years after skipping them in Cork and losing my mind when a mate played me their CD he got at the gig the next time I met him. They were great. I don't listen to much of this type of stuff anymore but it was a great gig. 000

Leo @leoos.bsky.social · 03/07/2026It is great that they have kept going. I haven't listened to the new one yet. And Aaron Turner was such an obvious choice once it became known. 000
Leo @leoos.bsky.social · 02/07/2026I haven't listened to that one. I must give it a go. A Sun that Never Sets is probably my favourite. But Enemy of the Sun was a long time favourite as well. Souks at Zero gets a lot of love the past couple of years too. 100

I'm into this album now in a way I so wasn't when it came out. This was far too laid back for me then. 200
