JISC Library Hub discover entry for digitised copies of Johannes Bianchinus, ‘Tabulae celestium motuum’ (Venice, 1495). “Audience” is given in the cataloguing as “preschool”.

He is Georgios Arvanitidis (1876-1953), who I think lived in Constantinople/Istanbul. He is referred to as "Constantinopolitan" in a 2026 catalogue ('Ars Apodemica') from the Sadberk Hanim Museum and Ömer Koç Collections, Istanbul.

Cataloguing a very nice Greek Catholic Marian liturgy this morning.

Our child is getting STRAWBERRY SANDWICHES for birthday tea. Can’t wait to try them.

Plate with hearts on. With four white bread sandwiches placed symmetrically, crusts trimmed off. With a “Happy Birthday” cake topper at centre and a candle sticking out of the middle of that. The sandwiches seem to be filled with cream cheese and sliced strawberry.

Dick Whittington, C14/15 merchant and Mayor of London. On his apocryphal journey into the city he came down what is now the A1 (the Holloway Road and many many other things). He passed metres from our house. Our local hospital is the Whittington.

The imprimatur has left an impression.

Printed manicules and asterisks in title-page decoration. Mexico City, 1765. There seem to be two different manicules here, one normally for pointing from the left-hand margin, the other from the right.
