Why does Ann Arbor for Public Power feel the need to lie? They could have said how many #a2council public commenters they got (an impressive amount!) without lying.
Ann Arbor for Public Power Facebook post in which they claim "most public commenters at A2 city council in at least 15 years." https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1415023567429642&id=100067660353861

Oppressive Morning People are the ones who want you to get up before the sun so you can have the "privilege" of going to sleep before sunset too.
Tweet meme:

God: To make you all safer, I've made sure 50% of humanity is alert in the morning and 50% in the evening
Humans: We'll make the other 50% also get up in the morning
God: holdon
Humans: Not getting up at 5am is a moral failureGod: No, plz stop
Humans: society demands it, you bum

My younger cat, Cara, plays fetch with me while I'm working. Get some pipe cleaners and string and make some spiders with them, and see whether your cat will play fetch. Cats are normally crepuscular, but maybe you can make yours a bit more diurnal than nocturnal.

No, I don't remember when they were cool. Nor when they made good products. Pictured: the only Apple product I've ever owned that hasn't died within 2 years.

I would highly encourage anyone who's interested in nature to visit the Karoo if possible. Here are some bat-eared foxes I saw while I was there in June!

The Pulitzer board specifically states in their FAQ that discourage anyone from saying they were "nominated" for a Pulitzer because someone submitted an entry. www.pulitzer.org/page/frequen...
A screenshot from the linked FAQ, stating:

Nominated finalists are selected by the nominating juries for each category as finalists in the competition. The Pulitzer Prize Board generally selects the Pulitzer Prize winners from the three nominated finalists in each category. The names of nominated finalists have been announced only since 1980. Work that has been submitted for Prize consideration but not chosen as either a nominated finalist or a winner is termed an entry or submission. No information on entrants is provided.

Since 1980, when we began to announce nominated finalists, we have used the term "nominee" for entrants who became finalists. We discourage someone saying he or she was "nominated" for a Pulitzer simply because an entry was sent to us.

The Public Service Prize is always awarded to a news organization, not an individual, although an individual may be named in the citation.

Former city attorney Bruce Laidlaw and local conspiracy blogger Elizabeth Nelson are accusing the city of some sort of unclear conspiracy theory about the death of Margaret Poscher. One of the absurd claims Laidlaw makes in his blog is pictured.
"Much of the importance of the bodycam videos is what does not appear. There is no sign of locating anything that could have contained hydromorphone. There is no indication of anyone touching, fingerprinting, or taking samples of the contents of the drinking glasses. We do not see a police officer sipping from a glass to determine whether it contained vodka."

Let's not forget that the same attorney who's accusing the Ann Arbor police of wrongdoing because they wouldn't sip from a glass of potential poison at the scene of someone's death was also let go by the city back in the 90s and is clearly still bitter about it. #a2council

It's a reference to this joke.
Man sits by me on train.
MAN: Loads of psychopaths around here
ME: Really?
MAN: Loads mate
ME: How'd you know?
MAN: There's signs aren't there?
ME: I guess?
MAN: I love them

(47 minutes of awkward silence.)

Man leaves train, he has a bike. I realise he was saying 'cycle paths'.

If only there were some here that he could share his housing policy to answer such questions as "how can the city better protect renters and ensure they have safe, dignified, and stable living conditions?"
Question 3 from the More Neighbors A2 candidate questionnaire: How can the city better protect renters and ensure they have safe, dignified, and stable living conditions?

Ryan Bartholomew did not respond.
