I met some of the people from the Christopher Street Project at a couple of LGBTQ+ Victory events I have never been so quickly completely dismissed by someone in a political space, nor have I so quickly had my "these people are looking for marks" radar triggered Fuck 'em. They do no good work.

Seriously yes! One of the really fun things about the Miata is that the engine revs high and the gear ratios are pretty close, so you end up shifting a lot and going 6-3 at highway speed to pass is normal But I do 4-6 a lot because 5 and 6 are so close that having two gears there is superfluous

A practical example: When I travel long haul, I wear baggy, comfortable clothes and no bra. (There's a few pics of this on my TL.) Not once was I clocked or misgendered by anyone who interacted with me I saw three different cis women get incorrectly clocked as trans and misgendered
