Q: How's it going?
Any update on the game project?

A: Games take a very long time to make is the cop-out answer, but in reality there have been months that went by that I didn't work on it at all. I was in kind of a unique position in 2023/2024 where I honestly didn't have to work as much to maintain my lifestyle, but that time has passed. Everything has gotten more expensive, the Patreon has lost a lot of subs, and I'm back to needing to freelance more than full time to get by. That leaves a lot less time for passion projects.

I am very typical in that I think national and local governments should share power and very atypical in that I'm not a piece of shit. My biggest internal conflict is that I don't want to be told what to do but I want billionaires treated as enemies of the state.

BR comrades will have to tell me if this is good.

My top political match is Guilherme Boulos, a Brazilian politician, with 98%. I match 97% with Zohran Mamdani. Historically my highest matches are philosopher Charles Fourier at 99% and Italian communist Enrico Berlinguer at 99%.

Mostly the same results as the old version of this, except this one rated me higher for Progressivism since the questions were written much better. Hilariously, though, it called me a Progressive. (The old one said Anarcho-Communist, which is what I describe myself as.)

My political leanings:
56% Unitary (vs Federal)
76% Democracy (vs Authoritarian)
82% Liberty (vs Security)
90% Multiculturalism (vs Assimilation)
81% Pacifist (vs Militarist)

61% Non-interventionist (vs Nationalist)
93% Public (vs Private)
82% Planning (vs Free Market)
56% Globalism (vs Protectionism)
80% Irreligious (vs Religious)
91% Progressive (vs Traditionalist)

My actual, non-curated Top 9, problematic faves and all. Notably I was not an anime-watcher from like 2007 to 2014 and there is a lot I still have not caught up on from that era.

And by contrast... this sucks. It leaves me feeling deeply empty. Far below my lowest expectations to the point that I almost went full conspiracy brain about what they may be hiding from us. It's none of the things I was hoping for or excited about. Labyrinths are the standout, I suppose.

I didn't play Classic so this is hitting me for the first time but, damn, do you remember when WoW used to be an RPG? Like a real RPG? We bled out so slowly from all the streamlining over 22 years that it's easy to forget what we lost.

The lighting in WoW Forever really makes it look qualitatively better than the modern game. I'm sure some of this will be implemented over there too at some point, but for now I can honestly say it's the prettier game overall.

Most compelling to me: This leak is from more than a year ago, when none of this was confirmed, with the stuff that has happened already bolded. And none of the stuff that hasn't happened yet has been *confirmed* false.

9 months ago. So far everything on the list that can be verified is true and none of the stuff that can't be verified has been proven false

High Elf allied race for Alliance
Amani Troll allied race for Horde
Silvermoon neutral main city
Quel'thalas rebuild
No new class, coming in Last Titan
We will lose for the first time in next patch

Sylvanas returns in Midnight
Illidan returns in Last Titan
Vareesa leader of High Elves, like Aleria is to Void Elves
High Elf can be Paladin
Amani Troll can be Shaman
Night Elf Paladin
Undead Paladin
Big surprise left, wont spoil that one
Release early 2026
New Void Spec for Demon Hunter also playable in Legion Remix
Early Access housing this year
New customization options for races

More stuff and emotes for RPers

This is much less impressive than the NYT one from a while back. That one picked out my home town, my mom's home town, and the town where I went to high school. This one was just, "Uhhh Nevada I guess." And I doubt the way I talk has changed that much.

I'm counting "visited" as "stayed at least one night" and "passed through" as I've been there but never stopped for the night there. "Stayed a while" means like, a week or more. I've also excluded all the states where I've only been to the airport.

It's really easy to see what the problem is at a glance when you look at this slate, honestly. Those first four lines are the first nine years of the MCU and the remaining five are just the last seven. It's too much shit.

A poster showing every MCU project. Everything up to Endgame doesn't even take up four whole lines. Everything *since* Endgame takes up more than five.

I have a running joke on one of my friend servers for how many years you have to spend with the Sisyphus Boulder if you ping me in the sports channel (which I have muted), but I decided to make a chart of the updated doctrine since we have lifted all purgations for the Norwegian National Team.

An illustration of Dante's Inferno labelled with different sports based on how much Len will punish you in the afterlife for pinging her about them. "Esports (Excluding League of Legends)" is at the top, blameless. The worst possible sin is, of course, League of Legends.

Very saddened to hear of the passing of Marjane Satrapi, responsible for one of my 10 favorite political quotes of all time. We need more voices like hers. Kill the patriot in yourself. It will only be used to hurt people. We are one human race.

A black-and-white photo of a young Iranian woman with curly dark hair and intelligent eyes holding a cigarette.

“If I have one message to give to the secular American people, it’s that the world is not divided into countries. The world is not divided between East and West. You are American, I am Iranian, we don’t know each other, but we talk together and we understand each other perfectly. The difference between you and your government is much bigger than the difference between you and me. And the difference between me and my government is much bigger than the difference between me and you. And our governments are very much the same.”
