For him to try to get me to contact him. I won't, but I really hope my cat is alright. He's got lifelong health problems and he's getting older. When he was a smol bean he'd sleep on my neck, even after his hip surgery, and I was his favorite person. Sometimes life just sucks :/

The Sonic concert was fucking amazing, and venue felt pretty full contrary to my doom posting 🤣 I am watered and flourishing, thanks fellow Sonic nerds!

Tonight I am going to the saddest Sonic concert that ever was in Seattle, and probably in my entire concert going career 😱

Went out today to grab the cinnamon rolls for the bestie and I to keep us awake from 1 to 5 am for Fan Fest tonight 🤣 Never been to this bakery before, but looking at the prices I was REALLY hoping they were going to be huge...I think I'd have to say I was correct 😆

A whole apple and a whole peach on top of cinnamon rolls. Trust me, the rolls are in there...somewhere!

Part of what I adore about Seattle is I can be heading to H-Mart and go "hey, wanna take a detour to see a distinguished lady?' and then head to a nearby park and show my bestie a whole ass volcano 💕 I do miss my ability to see her from the roof but I guess I'll just have to get out more 🤭

Yeah, this is effectively our lives right now. Which food recall? Yes, all of the food, all of the food is being recalled. Human food, pet food, frozen food, fresh food, snack food, healthy food, you cannot win 😭

There's totally pictures that I didn't take just now because I ate it too fast and forgot 😅 The pasta salad has ham, broccoli, zucchini, and bell pepper with Italian dressing - the bestie doesn't like tomatoes so I add them to just my bowl but those too 😍

A snippet of the upcoming chapter, where I'm really mad about racism 😤

An excerpt from a FFXIV fan fic:

"If a prince is born to a nation's rulers, why are they treated so badly?

He watched them endure decades of abuse from everyone around them - strangers, neighbors, Gridanian protectors, even clients. His parents frequently treated fellow Duskwights for free though barely keeping afloat themselves, but others would arrive begging for aid after nothing else worked, only to curse the names of their benefactors once they had remedy in hand. Some, to Muirenval's utter horror, would refuse treatment outright upon seeing the faces of their potential saviors. Too many times his parents looked on as a soul fled from their door to death's, all to keep from being touched by their hands.

Thus they didn't understand when their son, one of the few remaining Gelmorran royalty, joined the Wood Wailers the moment he was able. Nor did he want them to. He had seen enough by reaching ten and seven winters - kindness and charity were all well and good, but kindness and charity alone weren't enough to make a real difference. Someone had to fight, even if they were alone, to carve a path for them to flow unimpeded. And his parents had raised a prince who was willing to single-handedly shove his lance into every cog turning Gridania he could get his hands on to see that happen."

cont.-

"Ilm by agonizing ilm Muirenval had climbed upward through a system that hated and rejected him. His aim had been to get high enough to gain access but not so much so that he would be under constant scrutiny that would undermine his efforts - he was, after all, already a prince. From there he slowly built a network of trusted allies with similar inclinations who had done the same.

They were meticulously careful in how they operated, mostly preventing unfair judicial proceedings and expediting neglected administrative processes for Gridanian Duskwights. Muirenval had thought it would be difficult to disrupt a city-state's inner workings, but quickly discovered the apathy that enabled the racism also hindered keeping track of exactly who it was targeting and how. Despite making his work easier it constantly filled him with overwhelming despair, however - that he had to fight so hard, merely because of how he was born, against a system that so blindly and casually discriminated simply to justify its own existence it only required the illusion of harm to remain entrenched in society, was maddening."
