Yeah, I've approached it previously with a "I dint need this" angle, and that's entirely not useful... the point is, *they* need it, and I can help a bit

I have to use the incorrect gender everyday at my day job because I can’t be out there, and I still beat myself up when I very occasionally misgender myself amongst friends. But it happens out of habit and is not an indicator that you’re actually cis.

As a new Harry Potter trailer makes the rounds, it bears repeating that there’s no way to watch this show without supporting J.K. Rowling’s bigotry and the structural violence she’s inflicting on the trans community.

There is no ethical consumption of HBO’s Harry Potter series

You can’t without supporting Rowling’s transphobic bigotry.

Maybe you think you are invulnerable to this (you are not), but the people who stay in Twitter because you are still sharing there are definitely being dragged to the right. I have so many mutuals who are still posting regularly there, and it's so disheartening to see. Please stop.

It's silently costing people friends and other connections, too. If I see that you are posting or reposting gen AI content I'm unlikely to say anything but I will immediately lose interest in striking up any kind of conversation, friendship, or working relationship. And I know I'm not the only one.

Accurate.

Screenshot of a social media post by Angus McIntyre (@angusm@mastodon.social). The post humorously claims that the UK government's plan to teach 10 million British children how to use VPNs could become one of the largest IT education projects ever. It jokes that experts support the scheme because peer education and incentives will help it succeed, and includes a mock quote saying that, with the rise of autocratic governments worldwide, VPN literacy is more important than ever and that the project comes at the right time. The humour derives from the implication that government internet restrictions would encourage widespread VPN use among young people.

Oh, and if you miss this free fly, there'll be another in a couple of months, they're pretty regular things (and you can just keep doing those, there's no limit on how many free fly events you can take part in)

If you wanna know, the free fly is still on until Thursday :) as to "is it fun",sure! Depending on what you want, obviously, and what you enjoy, but there is a whole lot to do, and especially when you do it with other people (weird concept for a multiplayer game, I know, needing to play with others;) )

Just in case you and I use the word "nada" in the same way, were you aware the game is in fact playable? Janky and unfinished, sure, but playable. Also currently for free, until the 27th, if you want to see for yourself.
