I hate permissions systems that bundle something you want to do into a "super dangerous" mega permission. If you want to use a MIDI keyboard on chrome you had to enable insecure websites. If you want an app to change the screen resolution on Android you have to enable WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS.

There should be stdlog for logs. stderr is basically this, but it also gets printed to the screen. Maybe something that is hidden by default and could be redirected. It would be to stderr what stderr is to stdout.

LLMs really like writing in rust. Python and Go follow the "There should be only one obvious way to do something" philosophy While rust has a "There should be a thousand great ways to do something" approach LLMs temperatures(?) are too high for Python and Go, but in Rust, it has room to improvise.

I like how the only reason AI isn't replacing all skilled workers is because you can't ask an AI about something that you don't know exists. I spent about a week asking how to do nonlinear transformations with a 4x4 matrix, and I only found out what perspective division does when I asked about it.
