The Leidenfrost effect can make a droplet climb a slope.FACT (partly). On a surface with an asymmetric microtexture (tiny sawtooth-like ridges) heated above the Leidenfrost point, the vapor flow beneath the droplet can generate a small propulsive force strong enough to push it uphill on a slight incline.
