I realized I'm really bad at describing sound effects in prose, anyone have any tips on how to make these sound more natural sounding? #writingsky #writingcommunity

Forgot to mention I’ve finished my 2nd draft of my novel 🥳 edits only took 2 years, but the next round or two should be much faster! #writingsky #writingcommunity #creativewriting

Todays word I found while editing that doesn’t exist is apparently “uncomfortabilty” #writersky #writingcommunity

In this one chapter alone, I used the words “subservient”, “billowed”, and “brittle” all wrong 😂 #WritingCommunity #WriterSky

Re-reading a manuscript is somehow the most laborious thing I’ve ever had to do. I’ve finished this *2* years ago and editing my novel is just super exhausting 🙃

It’s kinda hard to be creative and artistic when the world seems to end every single day 🙃

I’ve been quiet, keeping my head down and editing my manuscript but my god is this the hardest part of writing for me 😂

This is a super interesting question! For Zei, it would have to be the first step to embracing the future is letting go of the past. I think for Vysandra, it would be that the expectations of others are not her burden to hold. #FantasyIndies #WritingComminity

Monthly reminder: Many people have a book in them, but it takes a special kind of freak to leave the Land of Laziness, cross the Plains of Procrastination and Insecurity Mountain, find the Blade of No One Made You Do This, and use it to cut your chest open and yank that book out.

#NOVELMBER Zei wants forgiveness and repentance above all. Years ago, he did something terrible in the name of honor and now he has the exact same opportunity again, but to do the opposite. He owes it to himself, his friend, and the people he’s hurt before.

#NOVELMBER Some of my plot twists surprise me, especially because I come up with them on the spot. I’m also surprised by how I manage to tie together things that I didn’t initially intend to be connected or relevant later

Zei stands to lose his honor, and most of all, his redemption if he fails this mission. Someone is depending on him to find the truth and in turn, he’s counting on the truth to reset the past.

Local radio station has unfortunately become all Christmas music. Though I was pleased to hear Carol of the Bells (Lindsey Sterling version) playing

Meme of the strong and weak doges. The strong doge is "Carol of the Bells" and the weak doge is "all other holiday songs"

There’s literally so much music in the video games world. Like it’s actually absurd. We’re living in a musical renaissance and I’d say much of it is coming from the gaming sphere. Especially when you consider the vast amount of music being written. Reminds me of the old days with bach and beethoven
