MK🌈 @leftypawprints.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I think the only reason this war continues is because the Russian military complex is making so much money. The military complex in the West sees a profit to be made and scares us all into more defence funding. Human beings are all brothers. Let’s try fighting for peace - it’s worth a try. 021
MK🌈 @leftypawprints.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Soldiers crying, soldiers not understanding why they are there, the constant fear, injury and death and the lives of those left behind. Everyone should watch this and understand the ordinary men and women who are living this. Harrowing but very important. 111
MK🌈 @leftypawprints.bsky.social · 01/10/2026If the goal is to stop money going to those who don't need it, wouldn't a more targeted approach, like means-testing, be fairer than cutting the growth link for everyone? 100
MK🌈 @leftypawprints.bsky.social · 01/10/2026It’s true that some pensioners are wealthy, but for millions of others, the state pension is their only or primary source of income. Relying on the idea that everyone has a private pension or savings to fall back on doesn't reflect the reality for a huge portion of the population. 100
