Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 25/04/2025@geekcollective.bsky.social @boostergrey.bsky.social Hey y'all Hope you guys are well. I've come with another recommendation, that's if you haven't read it before. 120
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 25/04/2025Makes you want to see what fucked up thing happens to the characters, what fucked up thing the characters do and the aftermath because there is PLENTY in this book. Again, I don't want to give anything away for reasons I said earlier, but I do highly recommend it. 000
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 25/04/2025This book, in so many ways, is a book about life. It's a book that has what has become so many of my favourite quotes. As a piece of art, it is incredibly well crafted and written. Every issue ending makes you want to see what happens - 100
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 25/04/2025Deadly class is superb, and I know I say this often, but that is because the books really ARE superb. It's heavy, it's action filled but it's also sad, it's also fucked up and it's also very fucked up and laced with tiny humour. 100
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 25/04/2025I don't know, or should I say, I am struggling to say something about this book without giving anything away because I think everyone should experience this book for themselves. So here goes. 100
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 10/03/2025@boostergrey.bsky.social @geekcollective.bsky.social pls read this book if you haven't read it. Pls. You don't have to be a pro wrestling fan to love it, and you'll appreciate and love it more IF you are a wrestling fan. 🥹❤️ 110
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 28/02/2025Nah imo the Goblin stuff is too close to home and I believe gwen here is morally grey so I do believe she's mysterio and I could be better but I'm hanging in there. Can't wait to see how the aftermath of that fight turns out. 110
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 27/02/2025@geekcollective.bsky.social Spoiler warning if you haven't read, if you have read then lmfaooooo what an issue and I strongly believe this is Gwen. Also how are you man? It's been a while. 110
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 24/01/2025Jonathan Hickman has really gone 13/13 and y'all that said nothing happens in this book are looking so stupid and idiotic rn. Shit has hit the fan and things will get worse. What an issue, the setup of #13 from #12's ending was spectacular 😭😭❤️ 000
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Amazing picks I love you Ty Also Happy new year (I know it's gonna be a while for you)❤️❤️❤️❤️ 110
Reposted by Jo 🦇Tyler @geekcollective.bsky.social · 31/12/2024In a similar manner, want to shout out Absolute Bats. While it isn't the married happy BatCat book I dream of in the way USM provided, it is a superb reinvention of the Bat mythos thus far- that does have some sweet BatCat stuff (fingers crossed for more lol) but the story & everything is so fresh- 121
Reposted by Jo 🦇Tyler @geekcollective.bsky.social · 31/12/2024Wanted to highlight these both separately because they fall into similar categories for me. Both are very ambiguous stories that are left to the reader to interpret and think about. I don't always love that style of story, but I think they do a good job at what they're going for and are- 111
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Happy New year!!❤️❤️ and a special one to @catoninetalez.bsky.social 120
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 11/12/2024to help people and Damian being/becoming a doctor(if he does) is one of them. I see what PKJ is doing, and i sincerely hope he nails it for Damian and not pull a tynion (what he did with steph in tec) and actually conclude this arc for Damian Bring on #17 010
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 11/12/2024Batman and Robin #16 is a solid 9/10 Art, pacing, storytelling are all very solid and these two panels are the highlight of the issue for me. Damian is at the point where he needs to figure out what he wants to do and frankly if Damian does quit I won't be mad because there is more than one way- 110
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 02/12/2024Batman #2 was great We're getting #2 of superman... Absolute line is cooking Cannot wait for Wally and Jo to debut. 021
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 02/12/2024Wacced out murals is by far my favourite 🥹 A close second is man at the garden. 000
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 02/12/2024I let this one simmer lmfaooo Imma read when it's all done. 110
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 27/11/2024Y'all that add into comicgeek are strong 😭😭😭😭 But solid list tho. Very solid. I do know batman is top there because he just has so many appearances. 010
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 27/11/2024SPOILER WARNING!!! But these are my favourite panels of the issue, and the one where he called Bruce "THE world's greatest detective" always disliked that "one of the" 😒. So far, proper Dickie characterization and the pacing is very good. Next issues will be fun. 000
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 27/11/2024Dan Watters already had my attention, but now he has more of it. Take a bow, Dan. This is soooooo good. Stakes are appearing and looks like we might have proper bludhaven on our hands and I do hope Dickie gets to keep his villains and antagonists. 100
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 20/11/2024You barely feel it, there's zero to little sense of dread that "yea the world is actually going to get blown up" but this boom highlights just how powerful they all are and every issue carries that dread. #4 had me scared lmfao😭😂. What a great read. Cannot wait for more issues. 000
Jo 🦇 @leftyknox.bsky.social · 20/11/2024Power fantasy is so good. It's actually so good. Ignoring the stellar writing all 4 issues have had, the pacing, the characters, this book has a way of making you actually dread the superpowers fighting. Unlike marvel and DC where 90% of the time you see "oh the world is coming to an end" - 230
