On 20 Sept 1973, the body of influential cosmic country-rock musician and former Byrds member #GramParsons was stolen from LA International Airport. Driven by a pact made before his death, his road manager Phil Kaufman hijacked the casket, drove it to Joshua Tree National Park, and set it on fire.
