Went to a protest today outside the Tesla dealership on a busy road in Denver / Littleton. Maybe 100 people there. CBS news showed up. 98% of the people were gracious and respectful. A couple people were obnoxious or loud. The cars driving by honking their support kept us fired up and going.

None of us can be sure what will “work.” You try multiple things and find your way in. Read some histories of the Civil Rights Movement by those who participated. They were never “sure” of what would work. Some campaigns fizzled out. But persistence, creativity, determination, and focus were key.

I knew the night Trump won the election that he would never leave office. Maybe I had some hope though that congress would stop it. I didn't know that there would be no resistance from the senate on a total and complete dictatorship. I knew Trump would try it. It hurts so much to see him succeed.

I keep thinking a strong leader and organization is needed for a counter movement. There are a few people making clear and bold stands. As a governer: Pritzker, in the Senate: Murphy, in the house: Raskin and AOC. Only AOC has a large bluesky following - 1.8M. Where is Harris or Obama?
