ICE agents are stalking the streets of Minneapolis demanding that random brown people provide proof of citizenship. We good with that, America? I thought we learned this lesson back in World War II, but I guess not.

AI sloppers (is that a term?) crying that their prompts are being stolen is more beautiful than anything AI could produce

Tired of the Prompt Thieves in the Al art community.
Seriously, the moment a great prompt is public, someone immediately copies it, shares it, and pretends it's their own genius work.
It's not about gatekeeping, it's about
giving credit where it's due. Stop stealing and start creating! #PromptStealer 1/2

Never do this:
Passing off someone else's work as your own.
This Grok Imagine effect with the day-to-night transition was created by me — and I'm pretty sure that person knows it.
To make things worse, their copy has more impressions than my original post.
Not cool

I've been getting into making stamps lately. Here's "BAJOR" in bajorai as well as the symbol of the prophets. I've made a couple other stamps I may post another time. #startrek #bajoran #bajorai #stamps #art

Hey, @actordougjones.bsky.social, when I talked to you at Ancient City Con in September, you mentioned wanting to go to DragonCon again. If you're still interested in it, here's the sign up link for DCon 2026! share.google/t6HPSsnZY5Rs...

Oh, hi, I forgot I had a bsky. I was in a trek fan film recently! The director, Josh is incredibly patient and made me (a newbie) feel more at ease going into this. The lead, Lezlie, is an absolute sweetheart and was a pleasure to work alongside! #startrek #fanfilm #trekkie #film #startrek:tos

Let's be clear what this image represents. Those skull masks were first popularized on the far right by a very specific Nazi terror movement that began on the pro-terror Ironmarch forums and entered mainstream news with the Atomwaffen Nazi terrorist murders. THAT is the reference here.

Gotta say, news/politics in the US have had me feeling pretty hopeless lately. But seeing @jerilryan.bsky.social 's reposts filling my home whenever I open bluesky continues to remind me there are still good people out there.

Why should you fight injustice, if it affects only others? Why should you defend rights that don't affect you? Because it isn't justice if you only care when it applies to you. Because rights apply to all, or nobody at all. Because you are a true warrior, and honor demands it.

Some photos of my cebu blue pothos! the second image shows when I first got it. The first image shows after I'd clipped the stems off so I could switch it to a passive hydroponic setup and trimmed off some weird growths (which I am trying to propagate in a separate container)

Sharing some perler beads art I did roughly a month ago. The X-Files art took about 3 hours just for the perler portion (about 2.5 for designing it) The Starfleet one took about 7 hours for the perler portion and I don't remember how long the design took since it was a about a year ago.
