The Equinox is upon us! In honor of the changing seasons, I experimented with 'half-and-half' fantasy makeup. I wanted it to be strange and unsettling. #cosplay #makeup #fantasy #creepy #autumnalequinox

Closeup of the upper half of a face; white person wearing heavy, mask-like makeup. The right half looks almost periwinkle blue around the eye, and the left half looks sort of like shiny caked mud and dark greenery around a bloodshot eye. The eyes look intense and alert.

I learned a new term today: honour bondage. It means that movement is restricted without physical means. For example, if I have you kneel in the corner with your arms boxed behind your back, that is honour bondage. 🤓🪢 #honourbondage #positionalbondage #dominance #submission #highprotocol #bdsm

I was recording a custom video, and...why does this look like a royal yearbook picture? XD

White person with short medium brown hair shown from the chest up, wearing a gold crown with red stones and fleurs de lis, wearing a black turtleneck and gold chain under a blue cloak with square pattern designs in front of a dark blue textured background. The person looks straight ahead, as if staring at the viewer.

A lovely subscriber suggested a historical roleplay idea to me, a POV 'inspection of a suspected witch's body'. For context, during the witch trials, people often believed that witches had specific features. The question is, would someone watch it? 👀🧐 #Fansly #Nerd #Roleplay #HistoricalRoleplay

Photo taken during this evening's video shoot for Fansly. (Why, of course, all the fashionable Victorians were covered in cat hair. XD) #Fansly #Roleplay #VictorianInspired #FashionCane #Tailcoat #Dominance #HighProtocol

Closeup of a white person sitting on a vanity chair and holding a Victorian-inspired walking cane. They are wearing a black brocade tailcoat with rows of decorative silver buttons and subtle floral pattern designs. Their trousers have cat hair on them. The photo has a warm filter that makes it look a bit like an older photograph.

If someone has a kink, that's okay. However, the depiction of religious figures in kink *media* is complicated; it could contribute to prejudice, even violence. Thus, for my content, I draw the line at sexualization of nuns and 'veiled women'. I understand other choices; this is mine. #Boundaries

030

Liege in Leather @leatherlectures.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

I would compare it to the use of the hijab and 'Islamic' tropes in porn or even Halloween costumes in order to be 'taboo' or 'exotic'. That comes with a history of racism, colonialism, misogyny, and Islamophobia. See Malek Alloula's The Colonial Harem for reference.

130

Liege in Leather @leatherlectures.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

I am cautious about perpetuating these tropes in media. I also have a lot of respect for real-life nuns/women religious, who are often at the forefront of change in the Catholic Church in spite of being the lowest in its hierarchy. I don't want to make fun of them or their choices.

120

Liege in Leather @leatherlectures.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

In North America and elsewhere, the depiction of nuns as whores (and related, more lurid tropes that would put Pizzagate to shame) went hand-in-hand with anti-Catholic laws and even violent attacks.

110

Liege in Leather @leatherlectures.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

On the subject of religious roleplay commissions, I don't do 'naughty nun' roleplays. Here's why. 🧵 Historically, sexualized images and stories have been used by Protestant men to demean nuns. It was rooted in anti-Catholicism and misogyny. #Nuns #NunRoleplay #Boundaries #Kink #Misogyny #History

Put another way: I sometimes hear that dom-administered punishments for a sub are necessary so they stop punishing themselves. But do these punishments encourage self-punishing tendencies over time or the opposite? #BehaviorModification #Kink #Punishment #Discipline #BDSM #KinkPsychology #Dynamics

010

Liege in Leather @leatherlectures.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

A pondering: Does punishment as a tool to expiate guilt in a sub also reinforce that they did something worth punishing? Over time, can punishments increase the sense that their mistakes require punishment, and is that ever a desirable outcome? 🧠 #BehaviorModification #Kink #Punishment #Discipline
