This YouTuber doesn't like to reply to comments on his videos because he says it is too difficult to communicate without being able to see the person and pick up on any visual cues and inflections. I can understand that, so I told me and he made a video reply back. This reminded me to make videos.

What is Heaven? I’m not sure, but I can tell you that I did experience paradise right here, right inside these walls of gold, on some school days.

The awe-inspiring mountain backdrop that complements my school’s humble beauty. The orange bricks and yellow doors I never saw glow in that light before an ambient blaze of amber not as lowly as it first appears.

A new free-verse opener that I've been working on for some time. It has been altered so much that it is barely recognizable from what it had started out as a year ago! Seattle sky-rise marvels of modernity with unique slants, angles, and spheres but something is lacking, a heart.

Finally, Bluesky can upload ten minute videos! One of the worst things about this platform had been that there were such extreme restrictions on both the length and size of videos so everything had to be about one minute. Until now I couldn't take is seriously as a video platform.

This Washington Post article inspired me to create a class that is basically doodling as a form of meditation. It start on OCT 4, runs for eight 30-min sessions (on Sundays) and is only $40. Come doodle with me. www.washingtonpost.com/wellness/202...

Yes, I have an editor that has been working well! He runs a great writing channel called Roughest Drafts. A year ago he did an hour long critique on my poems and he continues to suggest edits as a service he gives to his Patreon supporters. I keep web-design to a minimum these days so I can write!

Yes! I've found that too. The posts here are not loaded up with ads and content from people that you did not chose to follow. I've found its best to save some feeds of only the subjects that you really want to see and all the posts are not a waste of your time.

I'm beginning to realize that my life would have been so much easier had I uploaded my #writings to #Ellipsus to have a good #editor review them all and send my #drawings to #Padlet to have a drawing instructor #critique them before doing so much complex #web-design work! Start with the small parts.

Over the summer I did a haiku comic and a one page comic story. David teaches entire classes on those two subjects that would be wonderful to take for people who want to tackle on of those areas. I'm going to take the doodle class as a warm up for a more advanced one that will be offered later.

These last day of school videos are fun! I wish my family would have thought of this when I was in school. We sort of did have video on a last day but they weren't really interview style and that way of doing it brings up nice memories. #LastDayOfSchool #LastDayOfEighthGrade #MiddleSchool

I will be taking a fun #comics class over this Summer! For the last year or two I needed more custom illustration work in my projects but haven't had the open time to draw as I do now. This will be the first time that my teacher is also a former classmate! (in graphic design a while ago.)

One of the loose inspirations for Learning To Walk was the middle school books series. I liked how someone came up with the idea of blending comic books with a chapter book. The movie has some neat animations in it and I'd love to bring animations to my project took. I've used Procreate Dreams some.

I just watched the latest review of my project after putting it off (I usually get a little nervous after a review gets done!) One point brought up was the time put in to hand draw the lettering and yes, each poem heading was drawn with numerous iterations like these to get to the final design.

The reason "gathering" and "meeting" appeal to me is that I'm also in the process of starting a Skool community where I can talk with other like minded people who are trying to make this style of project too. I believe that would be a great way for everyone to learn from each other!

The name that I'll use for my business is Daikichi Kai Creative. "Daikichi" is Japanese for "great luck" or "great fortune." "Kai" has many meanings depending on the kanji used. The definitions that interest me are "gathering" "to solve" and "to untie."
