2/2 for example, my son - with ASD & ADHD - has never mentioned being distracted by displays. He mentions other people, sounds, events & even seating arrangements as causes of distraction but never displays. To him, they’re just there minding their own business 😂

Thanks for this, Kath. I agree wholeheartedly with your first point. I wonder, though, about the second point - are displays really that distracting? For sure, many are unnecessary, but has anyone said - I just can’t concentrate because of that busy display on the back wall? 🤷‍♂️ … 1/2

Are you a fan of classroom displays? Some contexts / countries I visit deliberately avoid them so as not to distract s’s (particularly those with ADHD), whereas for others, they’re a must. I like these #wonderwobbles designed to support philosophical thinking. #scottishborders #teaching
