Some #starcitizen stuff I saw when I peeked at the PTU spectrum chat during a break at work... im excited for 4.11 with new planet tech, and while they promise we'll be planet side longer with new events and activities, I just want suit lockers and my clippers fab to work

Do yall ever get full of anxiety for no reason, feel it well up, and the only thing you can do is, only thing that feels rational to do in the moment, is give a long feral yell into the void, and even then still feel it there, under the surface...

I've recently shut down my homelab server and have been looking into alternatives and fewer power-hungry devices that won't dump so much heat into the air. Downside of shutting em down is the ringing in my ears, which has gotten louder and louder lately

I really don't think CIG devs understand what they want from shop combat... The ship shields are basically magnetic barriers. They shouldn't be completely stopping ballistic damage. The eddy currents produced while the shot is traveling through the shield should slow down the shot, reducing damage

One of the main issues with running my HP Proliant DL360 gen6 is it idles at about 100 watts, under min load for the processes I use its pulling about 300-500 watts. I mainly use it for data backup/project storage, an always-on loop of dmca safe game music, and home assistant.

Wooo YouTube worked fast and approved the appeal on my tiny channel that I barely automate post stream clips to... I really need to make new content

000

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Welp I got a self harm content warning on a clip that features no depictions of death or mentions of harm... I just warped to the wrong side of Stanton from Nyx in Star Citizen.

Another week, another Dungeon Crawler Carl book, too bad this one is shorter than the previous one and is the last one available right now. Gunna miss the adventure of Carl and Donut, and the fun voices Jeff Hays makes, until book 9 comes out

I am taking the dreadful plunge at 2am to update windows 11, wish me luck, and I hope to see yall tomorrow if I go live

000

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

Getting ready to play some Konflikt 47 tomorrow with some friends, I will be playing the US forces, heavy infantry, Paragons, and tanks. The Axis Storm Giant will be a present structure on the map, not controlled by either players.

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

My pre-order for the Fallout: Factions, Battle for Boston came in, and I am so excited to build and paint these. But that will have to wait until I finish my Bolt Action and Konflikt 47 backlog.

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

This thing is huge, I just finished putting the blue grey base coat and then sponging on reddish grey on all the surfaces to give it a very weathered look. Tomorrow I plan to go over the Konflikt 47 Storm Giant and pick out cables and tubes.

010

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Onto the next book in the dungeon Crawler Carl series, This Inevitable Ruin. Excited to hear how Carl and Donut will take down the other teams on the battlegrounds

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

The tracking for both packages say before 9pm, I was hoping to get the cable in sooner so I could get my setup ready before trying to stream tonight

010

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Really hate waiting for packages, I have a pre order of Fallout: Factions Battle for Boston with all 4 new plastic kits and dice coming in today, along with a powered usb 3.0 extension cable I need to get 4k resolution on my webcam so that I can zoom in better without losing quality of imagery

Dealing with random chronic pain issues in the morning sucks and makes me want to stay in bed all day... a lot of the time, it feels like I woke up after punching the wall with my whole hand in pain, or old injuries in my legs feeling like they are splitting and cracking open again.

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Quick update on my the progress of my Konflikt 47 Storm Giant. This thing is huge. It took around 2-3 hours to prime it black, and the filament kept absorbing the thinned paint. Hopefully, after work, I will try to add the first base color.

020

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Ive assembled most of the big parts last night, and let it sit and cure, the legs aren't attached yet, but it stands at a 2x2x1 ft area. The Konflikt 47 Storm Giant is a huge piece of scenery that I can't wait to put on any table and use its rules to spice up an encounter

020

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

A friend helped me (save my soul I made poor choices) by printing most of the Konflikt 47 Storm Giant for me... this thing is so big... and leg section almost as long as my arm, the head section is the size of a small coconut

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

I just watched the most recent episode of Game Changer, and I think Sam Reich is just a chaos goblin in a nice suit, and its fun seeing his little tricks get turned on him and he has to suffer too

010

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

The new Konflikt 47 Slammer Samuel is rather big compared to the old metal one. What have they been feeding this guy during the rift war.

020

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

I got back into Star Citizen last night with the 4.10 update, the new Recco missions are kinda fun, I mostly did the Ship in Distress missions where you can raid a Cutlass for guns and components, and then run through a Caterpillar taking out enemies and then fixing a powerplant

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

I am calling this group of 10 US Heavy Infantry for Konflikt 47 done. I am excited to see how they play a part in Invasion Amerika and defending area 51 from teleporting Japanese forces.

000

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

It's another Monday. Let's start this week with a new Dungeon Crawler Carl book, The Eye of the Bedlam Bride. These books have been so fun, this one is 26 hours long, lol. I bet I'd get through them faster if I didn't get distracted and replay chapters, or go to work meetings lol

000

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

A friend helped me print some very basic raised platform bases that I designed in #OpenSCAD to help raise up non based vehicles and other parts to make it easier to paint. Can't wait to get my Stuart tank painted for #BoltAction and #Konflikt47

010

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

It's Wednesday, what's on your hobby desk. I currently have some #Konflikt47 US heavy infantry, and some #BoltAction machine gun teams and mortar team, primed and ready to be painted.

000

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Something funny I noticed is that under a really warm light, the greens turn into browns and the dark mustard yellow turns into an absolute orange

000

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

I am calling these Jeeps done. I plan to either use them as transport or recce assault in #Konflikt47 or #BoltAction soon. Will be fun the drive small teams across the map quickly to an objective!

000

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

Built some more of my #FalloutFactions #FalloutWastelandWarfare backlog. This group includes Lorenzo Cabot, a Super Mutant, Overboss Colter, porter Gage, and Shank. Apparently only 2 of those minis, Cabot and Colter, can be used in Factions.

030

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

Now, onto the fifth book. Wow, almost 24 hours long. I wonder how Carl will keep getting in trouble

000

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

I have decided that these #BoltAction USA mortar and artillery teams are done, I have added grass and flowers and need to finish adding decals to the Jeeps so that I can move onto the next group, some machine gun teams and another mortar team.

000

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

I don't think I have too many board games, do I? I was showing off my collection to a group of friends. Also, I need to fix the led controllers on one of my shelves.

000

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

Ive been wanting to stream for the past 2 days, but got sunburned over the weekend, doubt any of yall want to hear me randomly day "ow", "ugh" or "fuck" whenever I move or reach for something...

000

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

Didn't know that Steamlink did bluetooth controller pass through to pc

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

I am live over on #Twitch streaming some #miniature building, working on stuff for #BoltAction and #Konflikt47 Twitch.tv/le_alchemist

010

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Went to a few local stores, Sneaky Pete's Hobby Hideaway and Emerald Tavern, with a friend, browsing for a few things for Bolt Action and Konflikt 47. I got 2 new vehicles, a mortar team, some basing materials, and a set of rubber tipped brushes.

000

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

Just finished getting through the third book, and onto the fourth book, the third book was exciting, had alot of ups, and some parts that helped give more feeling and background to Carl and his struggles

000

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

Aa someone with social anxiety and vision issues in my left eye, I often don't make eye contact or am always looking around. And due to long term issues from post traumatic injuries I often forget words, or sometimes struggle with some pronunciation randomly even when Ive said the word before.

010

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

think there is something wrong with the price on the Apple TV promo banner... how is it $139 a month after 7 day free trial I just wanna watch Ted Lasso..

000

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

A quick look at some of my US infantry, almost done, on my desk. We have mortar and anti-tank teams, along with 3 jeeps with machine guns. I need to finish picking out the details, bases, and applying some decals later. #boltaction #konflikt47 #painting

000

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Ugh fucking waking up with a migraine sucks

000

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

I am currently on the third book already... I wasnt expecting the Dungeon Crawler Carl series to be anything special, but the story is kinda addicting, the amount of action and pacing keeps it flowing... but some parts are depressing...

100

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

I like to passive aggressively rage bait people who post dumb comments... also why do people do "ahh" instead of just typing ass?

000

Le_Alchemist @lealchemist.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

All of the #BoltAction and #Konflikt47 infantry and officers in my collection right now, a mix of Fireflies, riflemen, flamethrower teams, bazooka teams, heavy infantry, and Paragons. Along with Slammer Samuel, Roberta Wells, and Bertie
