This morning, no less than four (4) different people texted me, asking if I saw Zendaya's wardrobe at the 'Dune 2' premiere. I had no idea what they were talking about, until I hit Google, and HOLY SHIT THE RETURN OF THE THIERRY MUGLER GYNOID SUIT *hooting and hollering*

Zendaya is at the premiere gala for the film 'Dune 2', wearing a suit (??) fashio designer Thierry Mugler created back in 1995, that makes the wearer resemble one of Hajime Sorayama's sexy Gynoids. It's multiple segmented chrome pieces, with the exception of her head, parts of her upper and lower arms, her breasts, upper thighs, calves, and the tops of her feet, which are covered in transparent plastic. It is a Thing of Beauty, and I'd love to see a video of how a person even gets into/out of it, cos that's gotta be an undertaking.

Another semi-deep cut is that not only does the suit evoke Hajime Sorayama's work (seriously, I wonder if he spoke to a legal team), but a shinier, more stylised version of the Maschinenmensch from Fritz Lang's film 'Metropolis'. You may know that cinematic Gynoid as Maria, aka, The Machine That Spawned A Thousand Robosexuals

Two questions:
+ why isn't Zendaya wearing this in 'Dune 2'?, and
+ can she sit down, or does she have to be leaned against a wall?
