Been a long while since I shared a snippet of Gigaventure 2! I'm basically done with the animation part. The progress has been painfully long, but we're getting there! We also have VA by ChiiMakoto, and even an audio test kindly made by @nanoscopic.bsky.social. Thank you!

It's probably too long to explain everything in one message, but at least for the environment, I used a software to extract 3D models of Earth from satellite data. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eug3... I made a Blender add-on to quickly import the models. If you're interested, I can share it in DMs

While I was waiting for the voice acting of Gigadventure 2 to get done, I had fun finishing the model of @astrumhypernova.bsky.social 's sona! I may have done a cosmic growth sequence in 2 hours out of sheer inspiration🙄 I'll finish that sequence by the end of the year, promise! #sizesky

Back from vacations, summer is finally coming to an end I went back animating and just finished reworking Gigadventure 2! The first animation blocking was messy, I didn't have the vision... Now the path is clear 👁️👄👁️ Here's a good chunk of it 👇

Been busy setting up this sexy-cozy render set on the hammock. The heatwave hitting Europe right now didn't help... Here's the thing in a nutshell :

Act 1 of Anna and Tom's Backstory is fully sketched out! While Tom got struck by love at first sight, Anna quickly learned to like Tom. They’ve been sharing lunch almost daily ever since. Here's some snippets of the last chapters I've written this week:

Something big is cooking up! I've been sketching a proper backstory for Anna and Tom for a few days. 38 chapters. 4 acts. A complete story of how they found each other — and what they found together. Here's what you need to know 👇 The full details are... you know where 😉

Here's the most interesting snippet of Gigadventure 2 so far! If you haven't read my previous post, I'm pausing this project and switching to Anna and Tom's backstory. I'm feeling much more inspired for their story than animating again.

Hello! Just letting you know I'll be pausing the progress on Gigadventure 2, and switching to Anna and Tom's backstory instead. I'm not feeling motivated to work on an another animation after the 3 months of work on Gigadventure 1. + summer heat🥵

The Faering A cute trinket brimming with an otherworldly power... "Make him as small as freckles on my skin - Let him live within my world - SHRINK" "Make me massive, make me pierce the very sky - Until the clouds are at my feet - ENLARGE"

I unfortunately can't post Gigadventure here on Bluesky, since it crosses the duration limit... So, I invite you to watch it on either Twitter, DeviantArt or Discord. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Been modeling Anna's lore-accurate magic ring lately. I'm sculpting the runes right now. And they mean something : "Make him as small as freckles on my skin - Let him live within my world" - SHRINK "Make me massive, make me mighty - Until the clouds are at my feet" - ENLARGE

I'm taking some time this week to prepare Gigadventure 2. Starting up with new haircuts for Anna! I haven't decided which I'll use for the animation yet... What do you think? (Also, yes she has elf ears on this set, I thought she looked like one when adding those new cuts)

I followed a tutorial to make a planet and simply used the atmosphere layer :) The rest is simple camera placement, nothing special!

I think I'm done with the growth sounds. Took me one day per growth lol. I still have steps/earthquakes, magic ripples and city ambience to work on, but I'm pretty proud of the result! #sizetwitter #sizesky

Domain Expansion! FOAM CURSE I already figured out the magical effect I mentioned on last post. Though... I'm struggling to adapt it on a spherical surface like a planet.
