notes on simplifying !!

(my way of) simplification (not a rule!)
a humanoid foot is comprised of 3 major shapes, horse-shoe, semi-circle w/ a bloated side, and a trapezoid tapering towards the bottom, arranged top to bottom to create the basic structure of the foot.
for wrinkles: imagine a black hole appeared and sucked in all your lines, (or alternatively, imagine poking a sheet of paper...) sinking into the cushion-y form. this creates an illusion of supple form. as for the wrinkles on the arch, it follows the contour
