Played that CV Belmont's Curse demo. I think it looks well mostly in spots. Has a vibe, think some of the movement feels a little odd. As friends have pointed out it is weird that this is a CV game where damage on contact isn't a thing. Seems like it will be okay though.

After 31 hours of World Stage mode in VF5 Revo I have beaten every single character in the mode after 1067 match wins, only other thing are the 2 100 man survivals but there are no new NPCs in there. This mode really gave me some lizard brain to defeat all the opponents. Good mode.

The core of the game is sound, they got that stuff on lock. It's all just changes now. It's one of the few games you can even just say "Yeah that's alright that some stuff still needs to ironed out."

it's funny how twitch has no category called "Contra" that i can find (you have to type kontora and pick the kanji) but this search string returns these five categories, which are distinct from each other and also impossible to tell apart because you can't see the box art

As someone who has been trying in small doses to get back to making stuff after dropping off in middle school because of life like 20 years ago it actually is a mental deterrent for me. If I ever make anything of any quality and it gets questioned if it is AI it might destroy me.

It's really funny to me when some of the more fervent people that play Deadlock will constantly say something like "This game is dead" when it's a game in active development, is an alpha and has no monetization in it yet.
