An old and eroded statue of a sitting figure against a dark background.

A wooden sculpture of liberty, carrying a phyrgian cap on a stick and holding a wreath.

An ornate black set of stacked mirrors with ornate ornamentation called "Iago's Mirror" reflecting the blue from an outside window.

A marble statue of Medea holding a knife in one hand with her other under her chin as if in thought, with a background of paintings in gold frames on a red wall.

The @sandiegozoo.bsky.social Safari Park is my happy place and I was very glad to get a chance to visit while we were out promoting Victor's book and seeing old friends. I'm always as impressed by the plant conservation as the animals.

So far, much more productive than I would've imagined given how hard it was for me to get up. If I find out who left the surprise ambition, I will put you on the list. In the meantime, pitcher plants are cool.
