Try exporting all from "grids" page

also - UI was remade from scratch - categories are now drag-and-droppable - sharing links are much better now - print mode, light/dark theme, shareable images and so much more you can use it here: tools.spectral.gg/hero-grid/

But he juicy stuff starts straight after: - Starbound - The Zachtronics Solitaire Collection - Sonic Frontiers - Persona 4 Golden - Muse Dash Honorable mention: Super Hexagon, which surely has about 200+ hours throughout different accounts and platforms, but only ~60 on main steam.

How many Steam games over 100 hours do you have I'm at 12, but to be fair a lot of g ames have seemingly low playtimes, but were played offline (e.g. Sonig Generations, Portal 2, Deus Ex, Borderlands 2) Top-5 on the list: - Dota 2 💀 - Spiral Knights - Underlords - Deadlock - Artifact Classic ...

apparently asahi is working on M3 now but yeah, I've got myself M2 specifically because it was linux friendly and I wanted a laptop with a very good battery life (and it just so happens that a good laptop with great battery life is an arm based macbook)

Macbook M2 + Asahi Fedora, nothing too fancy

The "can't allocate memory" error I assume comes from mesa and is graphics related, and the main reason behind the problem is likely to be muvm and how it manages memory for the virtualization. And probably if one would get rid of muvm things would work much better? Idk

Leamare @lea.spectral.gg · 16/07/2026
Magically Dota on Arm works like a charm now. Used Ayn Thor and gamepad controls to play bot matches, watch some games and play Nest of Thorns a bit. After the most recent Steam update it got much better. Still no luck with Steam on Macbook+Linux though. Can't allocate memory.

Why would anyone run Dota on Ayn Thor, a portable clamshell android handheld device, you might ask? The answer is simple: why not?
120
Leamare @lea.spectral.gg · 12/07/2026
And of course, natively on macos everything runs smoothly, same can be said to some degree about Ayn Thor + Android + GameNative. So the devices are capable, at least there's that. I'm very curious to see a more advanced version of Steam for Arm and FEX with better performance. Sounds promising.

Leamare @lea.spectral.gg · 12/07/2026
- On Ayn Thor it's fun to have a proper distro onboard (Armada, which is Fedora, repackaged to be like SteamOS), but at the same time it lacks a proper support for the second screen. Even using it as a touchpad/trackpad would be enough, or detecting it as a second screen.
110
Leamare @lea.spectral.gg · 12/07/2026
Apart from that - the biggest downside on macbook: asahi doesn't support deep sleep/suspend just yet, so battery life is naturally much worse. But it's weird, as it sometimes might stay in sleep mode for 8 hours and use just 1% of battery, then use 20% in the next 4 hours.

Leamare @lea.spectral.gg · 12/07/2026
At the same time, Artifact running via Proton seemed to have more stability and no graphical glitches, so here's that I guess?
120
Leamare @lea.spectral.gg · 12/07/2026
For macbook, part of the reason is different page size, which requires running steam through muvm. And I thought the issue was primarily with how VRAM is split when running this way. But the same was happening on Ayn Thor: very slow load times and eventual crashes.
120
Leamare @lea.spectral.gg · 12/07/2026
Or to be more specific, Linux versions, running on Arm through FEX suck. I tested Artifact and Dota 2, in both cases the games seem to have issues with VRAM, crashing when there are multiple models on the screen. Artifact went a bit further, with horrible glitches during a match

Leamare @lea.spectral.gg · 12/07/2026
Got myself a macbook for the 2nd time in my life and installed Linux on it. Also installed Linux to my Ayn Thor. Thoughts: - Steam for Arm runs genuinely well in some cases, but in other cases it runs worse than GameNative on Android - Dota and other Source 2 games on Arm SUCK

it's both funny, surprising and upsetting at the same time that I've only seen a single Doctor Who themed post card, but no other merch or anything. Almost like DW did not exist.

Honestly it's kind of wild that a device as capable as Ayn Thor, being on par with Switch 2 probably, is so small. Steam Deck helped me to start getting through my backlog, Thor took it to a whole another level.

After I replace the second part of the shell, fix the hinge and replace the screen glass, I will be satisfied.

...and accidentally bricked my n3ds while trying to repair the hinge 🥲 Well, not bricked, I think the ribbon cable on the opposite side got stuck somewhere and it can't load now. I think some additional repairs are in order, but I'm a bit too tired from messing with it.

Now at our place there are 2DS, New 3DS XL, an original 3DS, a random chinese retro console, RG DS, Ayn Thor, Steam Deck, Switch OLED and Switch 2. How did that happen
020
Leamare @lea.spectral.gg · 23/03/2026
Actually that 2DS was my very first game console. Well, not counting a chinese NES knockoff we had at our house when I was like 2-3 years old. And since then I didn't exactly have any other game consoles or similar devices. I just didn't understand the point of having them.
120
Leamare @lea.spectral.gg · 23/03/2026
There is so much cool stuff to do with it, the orignal 3DS design is awesome, and there were different limited editions 3DSes. Today I almost feel stupid for buying 2DS instead of Zelda 3DS XL. And for not using it as much all these years.
110
Leamare @lea.spectral.gg · 23/03/2026
Eventually I've got myself a 2DS on a whim, played A Link Between Worlds and loved it. Then bought Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and never touched my 2DS for like 7 years and then a couple more years after that. I sort of regret it now, in a way.

Way back in the day a friend of mine introduced me to Nintendo stuff with Wii U and 3DS. And while I liked the concept of Zelda games, I didn't actually play any of them and didn't really understand the point of 3DS.
120
Leamare @lea.spectral.gg · 18/03/2026
at least playing old DS stuff on it felt very nice so no regrets there
010
Leamare @lea.spectral.gg · 18/03/2026
Is it cheap? Yes, and very underpowered. But it's also very clearly trying to be a "DS in 2026" and it works great for that. And there is also some nice tinkering potential too

>>> - Didn't test other systems much, but wanted to give a shot to 3DS. I was able to make Zelda ALBW working at a decent framerate and playable enough, same with New SMB 2. Something more lightweight will work fine.

>>> - the sticks feel a bit awkward to use, but that's forgivable considering it's not a part of the intended usecase - and speaking of indended usecase -- it's definitely not a powerhouse, but it works great for DS games. Can't handle anything more than that, but can't be mad for this price >>>

>>> - I heard a lot about the stiff hinge and how it's hard to open with one hand, etc -- and it's true, but also I kind of like it? - heard people complaining about the Dpad, face and shoulder buttons, but I found them very similar to 3DS systems, and I like it >>>
