No need for insecurity. Not with him. Armand lifts an arm and rests it on Daniel’s waist. Touch and closeness is precisely what he wants. He always wants Daniel to feel wanted. Loved. “You seemed to be resting well,” he offers up. It might be night, but he’s in no hurry to leave this spot.

He ment more that he didn’t want to push Daniel to closeness before he is ready. Armand has the memories. Daniel does not. But Armand still wanted to /be/ close. To protect him. So the “our bed” comment makes him grin. “in that case, here I shall be.”
