#Data standards were initially low hanging fruit within #Discovery, however, they evolved to become a pivotal focus within #Alpha. There is so much variation in #workflows between the private and public sector. A lack of rich, real-time data creates blind spots for #policy makers.

Another finding Discovery uncovered was that Building Control remains document-driven: It is still reliant on PDFs, emails, and re-keying data across systems creating duplication, delays and errors. Officer surveys evidenced how reliant back-office systems are on manual entry! #BuildingControl
