It was the film stock that did for Yoffy, it made the Fingerbobs seem distant and alien. Nobody felt that way about Susan Stranks and her spiders because they were shot on video. (Likewise "Banana Splits" being worse than "Animal Kwackers", even though the Kwackers were far more alarming in design.)

Wouldn't this cause the trapped ghost to be remoulded in the shape of the sculpture? Seems impolite to change someone's ecto-form after 500 years. Also, if a child ghost gets trapped, there isn't enough ghost to fill the sculpture and you end up with a phantom pair of legs strutting about the place.
