Had an uncomfortable "Why are my toes squishy feelin" moment when putting on the house shoes after cleaning them. Duh to self on the correct way to let um dry out after accidentally spilling chicken broth onto thus into them. Learn from my mistake. Avoid squishy toe syndrome.

Ever wondered how many egg shells are eaten in a year? With $ bein' tight and most meals made at home, decided to save, bake and buzz um down to put in the homemade dog food a couple yrs ago. Fir this 'human' 6.8lbs of egg shells used in a year was upcycled. A teaspoon/day lasts the big dog a year.

Eggshells, after bein' used by being broken in half, hangout in the oven. When the oven is used, and after it's preheated the shells stink a bit from the beginning of the millard effect. They cool on the stovetop, then go into a storage container where they are crushed down. At the end of the year they are placed in a big baking tray and baked again, then buzzed by a food processor into tinier.. tiny-er, however it's spelled, pieces.

A container full of buzzed down egg shells fir doggie consumption with (given w/ some vit d) fir homemade dog food cuz it's cheaper than buying kibble fir the big furry baby. It sits on a scale showing 3.38 lbs of egg shell weight.

Yummy spicey, cheesy, garlicky, chivey, squishy baked potato.

Ingredients in a bowl, on a wooden table with a lavender colored and landscaped card nearby include: half a giant potato that was sliced several times around the skin then soaked in salt water in the fridge over night then microwaved fir 5 min then flipped and microwaved another few minutes the topped with grated grueyer (sp?), microplaned black garlic, and a sprinkle of reaper pepper powder then microwaved a further 30seconds then topped with nonfat greek yogurt and a flowering chive head fir extra flavor and a pleasant lavender color. Mmmmm. Hope you enjoy.

Double sided tape, used as a boundary, fir the ants. Useful around cooking areas, under counters and around electonics. Is the making of it more or less sustainable than u.s. pesticides?

Make every meal yummy with organic reaper powder in your tummy.

An organic open faced quesadilla with a reaper powder sprinkled over a pesto base and topped with diced red peppers, shrimps, cheddar, fresh diced tomato and torn fresh cilatro and basil, with a drizzle of balsalmic glaze on a flour tortilla grilled at 500 degrees F fir 10'ish minutes with fresh toppings and glaze placed after.

Found a pack of red cards on the ground (looked like it fell out of someone's pocket maybe?), so got to hand 'um out to folks during the No Kings march then someone came up and gave me this cool sticker!

Lucien bein' all like, "Yeah, I'm kinda a big deal, but no worries," is my favorite part of LoTR. Dude has the humility mana max'd.

I love Mouse. I found a solution to eating when stressed. Share with someone, or have something simple readily available to eat when the brain sez, 'Hungry.'

Spider lemon coin pig, spider lemon coin pig, does whatever a spider lemon coin pig does (yeah yeah, Homer sings it better). Bring us some good luck for the new year please Speeeider lemon pig. My 1st lemon pig, er speeider lemon coin pig.

Apparently to give good luck or simply to have something to do on NYE, you take a lemon and cut 2 v-shaped cuts made at 45 degree angles from the pointy end of a lemon and gently pull the rind up to make ears. Foil is shaped like duck's penis without regard to the counter clock wise typical shape because few people pay attention to this. The foil is then for the tail of the pig and stuck into the lemon at the end opposite the pointy end of a lemon. 2 peppercorns are placed as eyes just below the ears. As this is a spider lemon pig, it has 8 legs which do not articulate because it's not actually a spider leg it's a wood skewer snapped and shoved into the lemon. Finally a cut is made where the mouth is and a coin inserted for the luck part?

Hmm how 'bout some fusion breakfast tacos, as an idea fir eggs?

Fusion breakfast taco: The taco shell is a croissant, giving it a 'mwahuhuhua" accent. Inside the taco is scrambled egg sitting on top of smeared pesto, because Italy needs attention in the food world always. On top on the eggs sit red peppers, onion greens bacon bits and melty cheese. What you can't see are the bits of reaper powder under the pesto.

Variably cut veggies in chicken broth with an entire garlic um bulb? Is that the correct word. Like the whole booty of the garlic plant. The veggies are celery, cabbage, onion. Some split peas and wild rice too. In an instant pot prior to sitting in pressure cook mode fir 20 min.

After instant pot time, and then some stewing with the addition of russet potato, sweet potato both orange and purple and some chicken muscle bits oh and curry powder Yum!

Question fir those that might know: why's this one so dark in color? We updated lighting about a week ago. We're molting. We've been this color since moving to a less active space. Temp/humidity 90/30 on the one side 80/40 on the other side. Diet: wax worms and organic washed romaine. #addHerper

So baked the 'bacon' at 350 degrees fir 15 minutes then clipped off the crispy ends and baked fir another 15.

A picture of MyBcaon that looks like regular bacon but feels a bit different. It tastes good as bacon bits on a sammie, but just ok as a full bacon strip on the plate replacement. Although my partner feels differently.

French taco chicken salad BAT. Croissant with chicken salad with onion chuncks topped woth sliced and quarted tomato the drizzled with balsalmic glaze then topped with arugula abd chuncks of MyBacon. It's sooo goooood!

Mkay so been searching for an organic bacon replacement for my french taco BAT (bacon, arugula, tomato) because culture borrowed and upcycled is fucking yum. I found this outstanding thing: MyBacon. I'm sure the natural flavors are nitrites which is why it tastes sofa king good... just like bacon.

I found a sticker at a sweet oddities shop this year to describe myself.

A sticker on a metal drink container. The center sticker portrays a happy dragon with a trans flag and trans symbol on it's tail. The dragon's horns curve back from above the smiling eyes to behind their ears. The colors are a mix of shades of pink and blue.

A bit bemused while making veggie corn dogs and recalling the movie Everything Everywhere All At Once. Also here's hoping these dogs have less lead than those pea flour protein shakes? #food

A shiny metal food prep bowl full of veggie hot dogs lightly covered in corn flour and inciting scenes of hotdog fingered movie people into memory. The bowl sits on a speckled plastic-engineered counter, the same color as concrete, but feels like a clean and std-free shower wall because I regularly clean my counters. The speckles reflect light in some parts and absorb all light in other parts.
