I’m trying to join Peachtober but I’m already behind schedule. Here’s a little character inspired by the first prompt, "oak". I probably won’t be able to finish them all by the end of the month, but it’s already good fun and a great excuse to use various tools. ☺️ #peachtober #peachtober26

Hello everyone! Sorry for the long absence. I’m back, and this time I’m here for the whole year, during which I’ll be sharing my illustrations, materials, projects and sources of inspiration! See you soon! #illustration #coloredpencils

🌱Today I tried to create a more anthropomorphic character based on my original characters, Littlegrey and the little catventurer Calico. The latest photo is for reference. Perhaps for a future project. I’m not sure yet but I had to capture this cute little rosebud in its little potion bottle. 😊 #Art

✨A little sketch from this weekend. Sometimes it's relaxing to let your imagination wander—you never know what character you might encounter. They often appear in the corner of the page.✨ #sketchbook #artwork #drawing #charactersketch #characterdesign

A few months ago I worked on a new logo, I don't think I've shared it yet. ✨ I'll probably rework it, but I liked the idea of using the little wizard cat. 😊 #illustration #traditionaldrawing #artwork #coloredpencils

🎄I wish you all a happy holiday season. ❄️ Thoughts and support to those for whom this time of year is particularly difficult. ❤️‍🩹

✨The little garden✨ Here I was inspired by our walks in Spain, among houses separated by narrow stone alleys and mysterious staircases, where we encountered little cute cats and discovered tiny hidden and beautiful gardens. Tools: colored pencils on watercolor paper (hot pressed)

Also, I apologize for the quality of the photos. It seems that between a lack of light, a problem with my camera and the quality of the connection mean that I don't have the ideal settings to post better pictures at the moment. I hope you'll enjoy it anyway. Have a great week-end!

Where I am in Spain, the landscapes are very varied, combining soft sand and clouds with the texture of rocks, green meadows and autumn colors with the blue-gray/blue-green of the ocean and estuaries. It's hard not to want to reproduce this beautiful variety in my drawings.

✨A weird little black cat✨ Here I was experimenting on a new paper with slightly more texture. I need to do more tests, but this paper may well become my favorite. 😁 Tools: Colored pencils on watercolor paper.

✨Have we met before?✨ This is not a new drawing, but it was really funny to draw and it's still one of my favorite Halloween illustration. 😊 TOOLS: colored pencils and watercolor pastels on watercolor paper.

✨Edgar ✨ Inspired by E. Allan Poe's short story, but of course, I ended up with a cute little cat. 😅 Creating slightly strange and scary drawings is a real challenge for me. I hope you enjoy it anyway. 😁

Exactly. Autism is not a disease that would have to be cured. Thinking otherwise is ableism, and in these days and age, that can lead to even worse things (so I'm also going to post cute art to cope, or at least to try to cope).

Hi everyone! I'm finally back. With new illustrations, new techniques, and new projects! 😀 This is my last drawing of the summer, before new fall illustrations, experimenting with mix media (oil pastels and colored pencils). I hope you are all doing well despite these difficult times. 💛

Hello! I'm sorry because due to health problems I'm not able to post many new drawings these days. Meanwhile, I'm reposting this illustration of the little fox. A few years ago, I imagined a whole universe with a little fox and robots abandoned in forests and meadows, 1/2

✨Still experimenting, this time with a new small palette. In your opinion, how many colored pencils did I use? 😊

Laure S @lauresillus.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

✨Sometimes I try new papers, and sometimes I also try an old and abandoned paper again 😅. I've always loved the way the colours and contrasts look on this paper, which really enhances the coloured pencils. Here I did a few tests to make a video on textures.
