Hello everyone! Sorry for the long absence. I’m back, and this time I’m here for the whole year, during which I’ll be sharing my illustrations, materials, projects and sources of inspiration! See you soon! #illustration #coloredpencils

🌱Today I tried to create a more anthropomorphic character based on my original characters, Littlegrey and the little catventurer Calico. The latest photo is for reference. Perhaps for a future project. I’m not sure yet but I had to capture this cute little rosebud in its little potion bottle. 😊 #Art

A sketch in purple-red pencil of a calico cat with big eyes, wearing a cape and a witch’s hat adorned with a ribbon and plants.

✨Edgar ✨ Inspired by E. Allan Poe's short story, but of course, I ended up with a cute little cat. 😅 Creating slightly strange and scary drawings is a real challenge for me. I hope you enjoy it anyway. 😁

Hi everyone! I'm finally back. With new illustrations, new techniques, and new projects! 😀 This is my last drawing of the summer, before new fall illustrations, experimenting with mix media (oil pastels and colored pencils). I hope you are all doing well despite these difficult times. 💛

Hello! I'm sorry because due to health problems I'm not able to post many new drawings these days. Meanwhile, I'm reposting this illustration of the little fox. A few years ago, I imagined a whole universe with a little fox and robots abandoned in forests and meadows, 1/2

Laure S @lauresillus.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

✨Sometimes I try new papers, and sometimes I also try an old and abandoned paper again 😅. I've always loved the way the colours and contrasts look on this paper, which really enhances the coloured pencils. Here I did a few tests to make a video on textures.

🎨 Work in progress...It's far from perfect, I still have to make adjustments to the colours, textures and details. That's what takes the most time. In some areas, what look like imperfections will be used to create textures or patterns. This is one of the fun part 😊 Wish you a great day!

Here's a little character I drew while trying another technique, mixing colored pencils, watercolor and watercolor pencils.

Illustration in colored pencil, watercolor pencil and watercolor on watercolor paper, depicting a small white cat with red spots, standing on its two front paws, wearing a midnight-blue dress and red vest. A small rouge gorge is installed in its left front paw, palm up. Both characters are smiling with their eyes.

I wanted to experiment with a new paper, so I kept it simple. So far I haven't found the perfect paper for my technique. Anyway, it was also an opportunity to test new textures. Trees are definitely one of my favorite subjects. 😊 . 🎨Tools: colored pencils and alcohol markers on watercolor paper.
