Post Surgery 📷 Reality-So-Subtle 6x6 🎞️ Ilford HP5 Plus Had brain surgery recently. Shot this in the ICU recovery room, but don't remember. My partner said I asked her to turn specific lights on/off, place the camera where I could reach it, and count the exposure time. #pinholecamera #pinhole

A black and white pinhole photograph of a patient lying in a hospital bed in a softly lit room. The image has a blurred, dreamlike quality typical of pinhole photography. A vertical light streak runs from the top center of the frame, likely caused by a light leak from a loose roll after exposure. Medical equipment and room furnishings are faintly visible, adding to the quiet, introspective mood of the scene.

Freddie Mercury didn't go into the studio and nail the vocals for "The Show Must Go On" in one take while dying of AIDS for you to despair and give up now. Take the time you need, but then get up and get back out there. The show must go on.

Hey, artists, in case you were wondering if your work matters: I'm a scientist working on climate change and biodiversity, and I would not be who I am today without The Lorax, The Secret of NIMH, Watership Down, The Last Unicorn, and The X-Files. I know I'm not alone. Thank you for all you do.

@squarepegpinhole and Marla minding their business and having a lovely walk. Meanwhile, Fig and Cedar aren’t dealing well with their FOMO. #neighborhoodwatch #germanshepherd #goldenretriever #dogsofbluesky #fomo

Two dogs, a Golden Retriever and a German Shepherd, stand side by side on the back of a gray couch, looking out a large window. Their front paws rest on the couch’s backrest as they watch a person walking another dog outside. Sunlight streams in, highlighting their fur. The window is framed by long, light-colored curtains, partially pulled back. A wooden side table sits nearby, and a blue stained-glass lamp is on a small wooden shelf in the background. The room has a cozy, lived-in feel with a soft blanket draped over the couch.

Every artist I know is really struggling right now. Financially, emotionally, their confidence, in general. If you like an artist's work, support them any way you can. Buying their stuff or subscribing to their Patreon is great, but words of encouragement are also incredibly helpful.

I can’t stop thinking about @stacyohstacy.bsky.social giant crocheted chicken nugget. 🤩 Never stop creating! #crocheted #chickennugget #art #create #cat

A black cat with fluffy fur and green eyes sits on a white surface next to a textured, large, mustard-yellow crocheted chicken nugget. The cat has a slightly grumpy or serious expression. Behind them, there is a large window with a view of a wooden deck and trees covered in vines. The curtains beside the window have a colorful abstract pattern.

7 Stages of Pen Grief: 1. Realizing it doesn't work 2. Scribbling on the notebook 3. Scribbling harder on some cardboard or whatever 4. Looking at the full ink reservoir and frowning 5. Sucking on the ballpoint 6. Scribbling on the notebook some more 7. Throwing it across the room

A section of the Berlin Wall outside of War Memorial Museum in London from 2007. It is still one of my favorite pictures from that trip.

A narrow piece of the Berlin Wall standing outdoors in a park-like setting with grass, trees, and a brick building in the background. The concrete slab features graffiti artwork depicting a large face with an open mouth, inside of which the words ‘CHANGE YOUR LIFE’ are painted in bold white and red letters. The surface of the piece is weathered, and the trees in the background are leafless.

Vocalizing my support of using multiple emojis in a single message to get a feeling across. We are complex beings that shouldn’t be isolated to a singular emoji. ie: love- 😍🥰😘🥹 Exhausted- 😵‍💫🥱 overwhelmed- 🥴😵‍💫😦 horny 😏😉😈 annoyed 😒🙄

The world is going to hell in a handbasket. @stacyohstacy.bsky.social wished me a Happy November 32nd, but she did not offer advice on how to celebrate 11/31. Rude.
