30+ years ago when MLB took games off of free TV, it punished seniors on fixed incomes the most . And this was a knowledgeable and passionate fanbase that followed baseball ⚾ practically their entire lives . And gradually ALL other sports have followed suit . My dad is 83. Just wanted to buy a charger on amazon. Could not figure out how to do it without being prompted to sign up for prime. Asked five times and had to opt out using the smallest little “no thanks” hidden on the page—I had to show him. For an 83 yo that is akin to financial elder abuse.

Agree! A worker in his 40s dropped dead in an Amazon warehouse recently. A staff member tried resuscitating, but couldn't revive him. A supervisor left him on the floor & told staff to keep working. They worked with a dead colleague next to them on the floor & weren't allowed to break for hours.WTF?

Sure! Easy for those who grew up with this but as a boomer im thankful for my son in law that is all about TV and it’s apps now a days so I don’t pay a fortune for cable-I have my wireless box and apps. That’s it. My husband is all about PC not TV. I haven’t turned on a PC since my IPhone.
