I saw this chart, which paints an "inevitability of AI" picture very clearly. But, I'm left to wonder how much money was put into each model. We know that all AI investment has gone exponential. I think that would be reflected if it were graphed and that we are seeing ever diminishing returns.

Instead, they work hard to make things worse for everyone and trust that those they think are superior will be fine. It dovetails nicely with the "hurt everyone, but hurt the people I hate the most" philosophy that you find in white supremacy and conservativism in general.

I got to ask a fighter pilot if roller coasters were incredibly boring to them. The answer is no for interesting reasons. He was used to incredibly high g-forces, but at relatively low impulses. Roller coasters tend to jerk you around a lot more, with high impulses at low g-forces.

"Fuck it" is often more motivating than "I can do this" before attempting something because the former allows for failure with no judgement on your character. It induces less anxiety.
