I'm on leave and today is my "do not leave the house unless it or I am on fire" day. So homemade scones and a good book or two it is.

I know I complained about the cost of things in op-shops. But I did get a few special items. I picked up a basket weave peacock PYREX mixing bowl today for $6 and a tulip candle insert for $1. I still need to find a brass candle stick but for now it's working in a vase.

Part my therapy homework is to write my dating/peopling CV. What do I bring to the table etc. I was talking to my friend about it over dinner and shared my list. She added a few things but this might be the weirdest great thing someone has ever said about me.

I went to brunch at a place in the Wairarapa called The Good Spot. Omg this only cost me $20!! (The bra shop was closed due to a fire 😞 😞 so now I have to re-psych myself up to go to another place.)
