This is wonderful to see. I’m not a document accessibility specialist, but I (a website monkey) work with one as part of overall accessibility efforts in my organization. We need more of this in the world, and I’m thrilled to see one of my favorite game companies stepping up.

Generally speaking, if you are someone's ally you don't need to tell them you're their ally, because they'll know. When you have to use the phrase "I'm your ally" that's a pretty reliable sign that the normal channels of communicating allyship (behaving like an ally) are not functioning.

AI: So we built this tool that will destroy the economy. Except that it clearly isn't up to destroying the economy, but all of the hype about it being able to destroy the economy is going to destroy the economy before we can really get the tool ready to destroy the economy.

Gotta love that phrase: “his at times under-qualified loyalists.” That’s, uh, certainly one way of describing his collection of know-nothing (and often proud of it!) ambiguous, unscrupulous boot-lickers.

I learned the original concept of meme — as a discrete bit of knowledge that moves among a population — in a college philosophy course in the late ‘90s. Then, in a creative writing course, I put it in a poem and got called out for using a word so obscure it wasn’t in the professor’s dictionary.

I have been traveling for 11 days, including seven flights through six airports, I don’t remember how many restaurants, shops, and museums, plus a big concert and a state fair. Meanwhile, my wife went to the grocery store and caught covid. Life ain’t fair, y’all.
A home test for COVID-19, flu A, and flu B is negative for all three.
