Panel 1: Lilith is bending down to reach for a pencil she dropped on the ground, but bumps her head on a countertop.

Panel 2: Lilith starts to stand back up with the pencil and bumps her head on a shelf above.

Panel 3: Ana is looking at her with a cruelly amused expression. She says "oh my god, she's such a loser..."

Panel 4: There's a thought bubble coming from Ana's head showing her in a wedding dress getting married to Lilith.

Panel 5: The thought bubble now shows them sitting on a park bench together, leaning on one another. Ana is now looking at the thought bubble, saying "HEY. HEY WHAT'S ALL THIS NOW??"

Me, playing original World of Warcraft: This is great! You get to be part of a whole community, and can talk to your friends and strangers! I bet in the future everyone will use WoW just to stay connected and hang out in a virtual space! (Actual thoughts I expressed in 2004.)

And somehow, just like my mother, I've managed to pull everything together.

Look at me, making promises I have no idea how to keep. I really have become my mother.

I was reading an article on a chapter by chapter outline, it was looking pretty cool, than they completely dropped the ball by saying it's perfect to use with generative ai.

I'm also grinding out more levels in transgender.

I'm gonna like this for now and come back when I think of a good response to this.

So I was thinking of a Graysexual Elf who spends 500 years thinking she's Asexual until she feels attraction for the first time and has no idea or frame of reference on how to deal with it.

I have a notebook that I write my random ideas into to maybe use in my writing. One of them just says, "Graysexual Elf Lesbian." I might be a genius.

I'm entering Act 2 of my transition where I go from being reactionary to an active participant.

I'm learning how to write and working on a first draft of a novel. And the feeling I want to evoke in my readers is, "big gay love"

I've decided to write a scene where my 3 queer protagonists mess up their hotel reservations and get 1 room with a single king bed. They agree to share it and to respect each other's space but in the morning they're all snuggling each other.

I was reading a book and suddenly thought to myself, "Is this a Bluebeard situation?" and yes it was absolutely a Bluebeard situation I'm so smart

Anyone know how I can make some writer friends on here?

000

The Lightning Lass 🏳️‍⚧️ @lassolass.bsky.social · 06/03/2025

Got a basic idea for my characters down, wrote a rough outline, and even managed to finish the first draft of chapter one. Hey, that's pretty good!

I had a eureka moment about what I should be writing, by basing it on a dream I had. It involved me trying to use a portal to go to Hell to retrieve, something? Anyway I'm mad inspired!

The Lightning Lass 🏳️‍⚧️ @lassolass.bsky.social · 03/03/2025

Double checking my outline, I couldn't figure out if the supernatural elements actually added anything to the story or not. So now I'm trying to decide whether to keep working on that, or go back to fleshing out an older idea.

Still working on the first draft. I should be looking up the basics of novel writing. But perhaps it wouldn't hurt to first watch this 40 minute video about the best way to send queries 👀

I'm gonna write a novel. I'm still working on a first draft, but my outline started with Dr. Strange mixed with Dr. Who and is now about a mermaid polycule. Can't wait to see where it goes from here.

I'd love to make some new friends, especially anyone who likes to play board games. I don't have a group to play with, and I'd really like to play some Twilight Imperium!

This definitely has to be one of mine. I spent a lot of time on the Internet growing up, and that includes a lot of time with the emulation and English patches! Funny enough I never played Secret of Mana, though!

Cover for the Super Famicom game Seiken Densetsu 3, which would later be called Trials of Mana when it was brought to English for the Mana collection and a 3D remake on Switch
