I feel like my luck with appointments needs to be studied. Computer systems go down the minute i arrive, Techs call out sick, The office is overwhelmed and close before its my turn. Without fail i always have to return a second time.. So uh.. Don't take me with yah if you need anything at the DMV

Saw AI brainrot trading cards at the store yesterday.... Hilarious to see the amount of resources used to make childrens toys thatll be thrown away in a week

Highly suggest answering the survey to give input on this. A lot of it seems like they view some AI usage to be "better" than others... Hopefully they'll listen to public opinion on this if enough folk weigh in.

Social deduction game test went well!! Think the game is more or less in the correct place, just need some adjustments to the world to make for a better stream. Hoping to debut the game in a couple weeks!

Looks something akin to high tannin water, which i would probably call red myself. Brown water implies more dirt/sewage, so less about the exact color and more about what colored it.

Lasso Catsidy @lassocatsidy.meowdy.live · 21/09/2026

Ooh! Thank yah ill take a good look at that

010

Lasso Catsidy @lassocatsidy.meowdy.live · 21/09/2026

We should celebrate the process though. I've been inspired countless times by dev blogs, artists explaining why first drafts are thrown out, and stories of albums shifting tone after being half written. There are so many emotions behind changing your creations, that make it a beautiful thing

040

Lasso Catsidy @lassocatsidy.meowdy.live · 21/09/2026

Side tangent, i think we see a lot of AI find popularity because the algorithm (and possibly wider culture) wants to see finished polished products, and generally ignores the process

150

Lasso Catsidy @lassocatsidy.meowdy.live · 21/09/2026

But drafting is important, the challenge of building a thing helps you refine it, as well as incremental testing (by you or others) to find what does and doesnt work. I tear down and rebuild my projects all the time. Because I figure out a better way to achieve my goal while testing first ideas.

140

Lasso Catsidy @lassocatsidy.meowdy.live · 21/09/2026

Something I've noticed about games made with AI is that the design feels like nothing has been properly tested or challenged. I think part of it is AI enables a narcissistic creation process, where all your ideas are validated. No hard work or incremental testing, just a final product you tweak
