Why does this matter? Current imaging methods need too much manual intervention, limiting throughput. Fully autonomous super-resolution imaging could transform drug discovery & disease phenotyping, just like AI has in other fields. (3/5)

📢 Anne-Pia presents a new method for high-fidelity imaging at ~0°C! Using a cooling collar, 10% ethanol as an immersion medium, and nitrogen flow to reduce condensation, we maintain live biological samples under physiological conditions. (3/5)

🧊 High-resolution microscopy requires short working distances and immersion media, causing rapid heat transfer to samples. For cold-adapted organisms, this means cell damage, altered biology, and unreliable results. (2/5)
