They said AI would make developers 10x more productive. They forgot to mention the 20x cleanup crew. 🔥🧯 Welcome to the new software development lifecycle: Generate. Debug. Regret. Repeat. #AI #Coding #SoftwareDevelopment #TechHumor
An illustration in a chaotic, vibrant comic-book style titled "AI CODE CLEANUP SPECIALIST!" at the top, featuring an action-packed office in utter meltdown. At the center is a Specialist in a bulky yellow hazmat suit with an overly complex backpack, full face mask, and rubber gloves, dramatically aiming a hose labeled "DE-BUGGER" at a computer desk. Around them, terrified office workers flee with exaggerated panic, flailing arms, and flying papers, while one desperately throws a bucket of water onto a flaming PC. A desk is on fire, with orange cartoon flames and smoke billowing toward the ceiling, next to a monitor flashing errors like "ERROR: SYSTEM IN REVOLT" and "INFINITE LOOP." On the right, a dumpster overflowing with burning computer parts is labeled "COMPLETED CODE" with sound effects like "fwoosh" and "crackle" written in the air. The messy floor is littered with tangled cords, paper, and a yellow hazard sign reading "CAUTION: LIVE AI."

(A hilarious, chaotic meta-commentary on our times, though ironicaly brought to life by an actual AI—which we can only hope was carefully cleaned up afterward so it didn't burn down the server room!)

It’s 2026. At some point we have to stop pretending IPv4 is still a perfectly normal lifestyle choice. 😇 My website now politely informs visitors when their ISP is still delivering the Internet using technology from 1981. “IPv6 has only been a standard […] [Original post on burningboard.net]
Screenshot of a dark-themed personal website titled “What I’m Running”. Several cards describe the infrastructure behind the site, including AS201379, DN42, self-hosting, Red Hat, networking, and code automation. In the bottom-right corner, a red-accented notification says “Legacy IP detected” and explains that the visitor reached the site over IPv4, a protocol from 1981, while IPv6 has been a standard since 1998. The visitor’s IPv4 address is shown below the message.

There is something deeply satisfying about true data sovereignty. No rate limits, no third-party APIs snooping on prompts, and zero cloud lock-in. Just raw self-hosted inference pulling 154 tok/s with an absurd 0.11s TTFT on local silicon. Running Qwen […] [Original post on burningboard.net]

The bottom section shows the output of a prompt script asking for a haiku about a GPU shortage, followed by performance metrics: 154.0 tok/s, 837 tokens generated in 5.44 seconds, TTFT 0.11s, reasoning on, using the qwen38-uncensored model with DFlash2 speculative decoding and NVFP4 on Blackwell architecture.
