Two sheds. Two Shelly screens. Zero excuses left for not knowing my battery %. I built custom Home Assistant dashboards for my farm with Claude — solar, pumps, tank levels, cameras, the lot. Open source if you want it. Video + code 👇 youtu.be/t6NH6u46zVo

Just renewed as a Microsoft MVP for the 14th time. Wasn't sure it'd happen this year — a bushfire tore through our farm in January, plus a stretch of nonstop change and new projects. Grateful for this community, and looking forward to year 15. 🙌

40,000 YouTube subscribers. After the hardest 5 months of my life — bushfire took out our farm earlier this year and some weeks I had nothing left to give. The community showed up anyway. Thank you. 🙏🚀 youtube.com/@LarsKlintTech

On the list of "I never thought this was a thing" is an uninteruptable power supply for my fridge. Yet, here we are. I put a UPS on my fridge. And it makes a lot of sense. Thanks to Bluetti for providing the device and scratching the itch that is my curiosity. Full video: youtu.be/AuzGuGwWJnk

I learnt to splice fiber optics!! Part of farm rebuild is building a full Farm Fiber Backbone that connects all buildings, current and future, with high speed fiber optics. So I learnt to splice fiber. And filmed it. Of course. Full video: youtu.be/iIhfXhcmZFU

The progress on the farm is continuing, and it's looking much better already. I've put up a bunch of cameras (where I forgot one important feature), almost done the fiber connections, and the gate is working again!! Full video: youtu.be/eQxwItqJicU

It's here! Microsoft Azure in Action by my good friend @larsklint.bsky.social! This book is both practical & entertaining. Lars takes you from fundamentals to real-world scenarios with clarity, while sprinkling in humor. You’ll come away with a deep understanding of Azure, and a smile along the way
