My fess is that I do the same thing... especially when the pizza is super hot. My partner mocked it once... and then I mentioned that they were a psychopath for eating the crust first. It never came up again. Ahh, the joys of marital negotiation.

My rule on these issues is simple: If you are not willing to say something in person, then do NOT use an "anonymous" survey as a venting forum. IP addresses, etc. are too easily traced. So is language, cadence in writing, etc.

I do the same thing. On one hand, I wish my partner had a more open mind. On the other, I quite enjoy having the occasional thing just for myself. It’s not a bad thing for a married couple to have individual tastes and interests. This way, that picky appetite doesn’t annoy me anymore.

A stereotype that doesn't hold up against career women who live on Uber Eats and microwave meals (which describes many of the busy women I know), and gay men who obsessively strive to stay fit in between gym sessions. But nice effort.

I used to live near a bus stop when I was a kid. I enthusiastically waved every time a bus drove past. There were always smiles from passengers. As an adult, I still occasionally do it. Still get smiles. You’re never too old or too cool just wave “hello” at people. Kindness is free, luv.

As an ex-pat American, I am more likely to be on time with a 12hour clock because I don't have to pause and count to line up the 24hour clock with my brain. And for the record, I work in a deadline oriented industry that demands never, ever being late.

Well, I was abused at home AND I was bullied at school. No one cared. Somehow, I survived and eventually thrived without taking it out on anyone else. Fuck bullies.
