Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 03/02/2025I have 4 audiobooks due back to the library in 3 days.. I’m only half way done with the first. Time to speed run them, I guess??? 📚💙 020
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 28/01/2025Thinking about starting a garden in storage containers. I rent the house I’m in and we don’t have great soil. Anyone tried this before and been successful? I’ve been watching videos that are making me hopeful! 130
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 27/01/2025A few people local to my area met on TT and have now set up a discord as a safe space for us all to connect. Community is so important right now and I love to see people coming together 💙 050
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 26/01/2025#booksky , I finished The Poppy War over a week ago and I still think about it almost every minute of every day. Is this my new life? Really need my Hoopla to reset so I can get the next book 🥹 📚💙 1150

Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 26/01/2025I’m the weirdo at the bowling alley reading my book in between turns 🤭📚💙 4200
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 25/01/2025Lazy Saturdays spent reading with a dog in your lap are never a waste 📚💙 070

Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 25/01/2025Then we have Muenster who seems to be a true stray because she runs away if she catches me looking at her. (She always comes back for the food, water, and warm bed) 010
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 25/01/2025We also have Cheddar who seems to have had a family at some point, but no luck locating them either. Cheddar is a little sassy, but such a sweetie 010
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 25/01/2025Here’s a pic of a (possible) stray that has been hanging out at my house. I’ve tried to find his home but unfortunately no luck. His new name is Colby Jack (we use cheeses to name strays) 3100
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 25/01/2025I’ve heard a lot of people say he’s a z*on*st. I can’t say it’s true, but I’d rather just choose to give my money to authors I’m sure I want to support if that makes sense 000
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 25/01/2025Thank you for the inspiration, I think I’ll do the same 🥰 (it was the “yipeee” at the end that sold me) 110
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 25/01/2025Honestly this is the hardest part about leaving fbook. I heavily relied on it for information like that, keeping up with community activities, etc because it was the easiest place to find information 000
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 25/01/2025This! I can’t always get the book and audio so having a pronunciation guide helps so much 110

Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 25/01/2025I just hope they really follow through with the idea and create a good, usable space for video content and don’t let it die before it has a chance🤞🏻 020
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 25/01/2025I can’t believe it took me so long to start this book 🤦🏻♀️now that I have, I don’t want to put Iit down 📚💙 #booksky 0130
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 25/01/2025Exactly what I was going to say! I hate seeing the fingerprints I leave behind 110
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 25/01/2025That was my thought! and they’re on sale at my local grocery store! A win is a win 000
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 25/01/2025Just ate an entire pint of Ben and Jerry’s.. usually I would feel terrible about this, but not this week 🥹 1140
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 25/01/2025I’m torn between “let me make my silly little posts about my books” and “the world feels like it’s ending and this seems out of place”. I think it’s important to find joy when and where we can, but it’s becoming harder every day 601091100

Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 24/01/2025I love the idea of a book club/ reading books with friends but I have no self discipline when it comes to *not* reading ahead 😅 4150
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 24/01/2025I HAVE to finish A Song to Drown Rivers because it’s due back at the library in the next few days (I haven’t started 😅) what are you getting into this weekend? 100
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 24/01/2025The best thing about Fridays is I just have to tell myself to make it through the day then I get to read for 2 days straight 📚💙 1100
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 24/01/2025The Created Angels Chronicles sounds so good! Added to my TBR ☺️ 110
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 24/01/2025I think the closest I’ve come to reading urban fantasy is The Book of Azrael by Amber V. Nicole and I’m not sure how well that actually falls under the category, but I’m open to it! 110
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 24/01/2025This is amazing! I’ve done small ones, but never anything this detailed. I love it! 110
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 24/01/2025I’ve heard so many good things about this book/series! Added to my tbr 📋 210
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 24/01/2025That’s so fun! I hope it helped a lot of people learn to love reading! Harry Potter was the book my teacher recommended, and while I cannot stand JK Rowling, I do owe her books the beginning of my reading journey whether I like it or not haha 100
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 24/01/2025I love that! Would appreciate any mystery recommendations you have! 100
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 23/01/2025Ooo, I’m definitely going to look into it! Thank you! 100
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 23/01/2025It honestly doesn’t matter- once I pick up a book I no longer exist in the current world so I don’t even notice if there is background noise or not lol 010
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 23/01/2025A follow up on my previous post- while I am thankful I had people in my life encouraging me to read, they probably should’ve been more aware of what I was consuming. I’m sure reading Dean Koontz in 5th grade has had some lasting impact I haven’t realized yet 041
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 23/01/2025My love of reading came from my mom who had me reading on my own by kindergarten (we still read books together to this day) and my 3rd grade teacher who held me after class and recommended a book to me from her own collection 💙📚 270
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 23/01/2025Ooooo this happened to me right after I finished The Poppy War. Seeing that message made me cry again 🥲 000
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 23/01/2025I fell into the romantasy trap on TT and am trying my best to get back to other genres I like. There’s nothing wrong it, I just need a break 📚💙 5100
Lara Nichole✨ @laranichole.bsky.social · 23/01/2025There are a few content creators I will miss (if I don’t find them here) but I can already say everyone here is sooo much nicer! I hope this platform continues the way it is and we don’t see a rise in bullies like we did with TT. 110
