I make these prints on smooth glass or gelplates using acrylic paint. I achieve the various textures by pressing objects such as cardboard, cut paper, plastic bags, bubble wrap, tin foil, etc. Into the wet paint on the plate before I lay down the paper.

Bluesky won't let me edit my original post. I wanted to correct myself. This is actually vermillion, cadmium orange, and turquoise. I use a lot of Naples yellow, so I automatically wrote that first.

I haven't taken any classes or read books specific to this method of printing. I am mostly just making it up as I go along. I was inspired to try printing from seeing other people's posts on social media.

I usually only manage a couple of afternoons a week, but I often finish a dozen prints or more per session. I just share them one at a time so I don't overwhelm everyone....lol.
