New friends from my morning walk. The Sonoran desert is such a magical place.

Haunting a new neighborhood for my morning walk.

Baby hummingbirds! Almost too big for their nest 🥹

Rescued a baby bunny from the outside cats- baby bunny screams are really something. Look at those little ears I’m dying

Crying Buddha and a flying pig are two of my favorite things about my favorite yoga studio💕

About a zillion years ago I was a yoga teacher and did weird stuff like headstands on fire trucks. It was fun.

The background is the front of a Rural Metro fire truck- a green one- and there’s a woman with her forearms and head down on the bumper, back against the grill. She’s not yet in the pose, one leg behind her in the truck and the other knee bent. She’s smiling. In front of her is a fireman pretending to be ready to catch her and to the right another fireman watches. It was a long time ago.

Might go broke feeding these little monsters but I don’t even care. Calling the little gray one Harlow and the black beauty Lucy.

A gray kitten sits perfectly like a perfect little angel in front of an empty(!) green food dish. They are waiting patiently and perfectly for me to stop with the camera and bring out the stinky food. It’s dark outside - we are creatures of the night.

Went to see the folks today and when I left little owl was sitting outside the box! My hands were full and they hopped into the box once I started squealing (quietly, kind of) so I didn’t get a great picture.. but it was the first time I saw the whole tiny bird! I’m smitten.

Just to the right of the box is a western screech owl and they’re a perfect egg shape. They’re not in super good focus because my hands were full and I only had a few seconds to take the picture.

They’re back! And they’re ruling the house 🦉💜

I’ve never been able to take good enough pictures of the moon but I’ve never taken one like this…

A western screech owl started hanging out in my parents carport so my dad made them a box! They moved in immediately and provide my parents with hours of entertainment when they’re around. I’m pretty jealous, not gonna lie.
