A copy of the recent YouGov poll showing that as much as 80% of Democrats support abolishing ICE, and that even among moderates in both parties, it's a favorable position.

So there's really no reason not to.

Hi, we go by Hope. We do threadcraft and poetry (at a much of a pace as our brain and paws allow). AI hasn't caught up to doing threadcraft but please remember to support fiber arts! Legacy crafts have been eroded by industry but are still very important as non-renewable resources dwindle!

Finally finished with our Camellia top in @isasaxonists.bsky.social 's Galactic Bouquet! 5 iterations over 8 months - patience and persistence!

Finished piece! Black, purple, copper, and pink top. straps over the shoulders, ruffles on the bottom. Worn for test fit in the kitchen sitting in front of the fridge.

It's been a while since we've provided an update on this project. We put it down after the third sizing alteration (back in May) picked it up in October, and have done two more iterations since. So here's the final form of the main body - straps/blocking remain. #threadcraft #crochet

Newsom seems to have forgotten Kirk's less-than-stellar opinion of his politics.

An excerpt from a Fox News article where Charlie Kirk talks about Gavin Newsom back in March of 2025:

Newsom got a bit irritated when I suggested he was "slick," precisely because it’s so accurate. His show is a charm offensive, a calculated play, a rebrand for a man who knows the Democratic Party took a beating in 2024 and needs a new face. He hopes that by looking moderate on the perfect cocktail of issues, he can both get liberals to back him in a primary and then moderates and Republicans to back him in a general election.

One of our favorite OCs is our Shadow Conjurer, Method. It's made up of many smaller shadows that petitioned an eldritch deity for sentience and survival. It speaks in whispers and is extremely self-indulgent in social conduct. It seeks to learn how to sustain itself by eating others' dreams.

Chatbots have wormed their way into everything: phones, cars, TVs, offices. They're also in kids classrooms.
Microsoft and OpenAI announced yesterday that they would spend millions on a new program that will train teachers to use artificial intelligence. It’s part of a bigger push by tech companies to get their chatbots into schools. They’re selling A.I. subscriptions to administrators and promising them that the bots will help teachers grade assignments, prepare lessons and draft recommendation letters. The companies say A.I. proficiency will prepare kids for the work force.

They also approach students directly with discounted subscription rates around exam periods. It’s an old playbook: Get kids hooked, and you’ve got future customers.

But do chatbots actually help them learn? So far, there’s little evidence. Today, I explain how students have become guinea pigs in a national classroom-learning experiment.

Took a more dedicated push on the Camellia top - sorry for lack of updates! But here we go! Finished the sides, now for border and straps.

New progress pic! Roughly 19" tip to tail, from the hollow of our neck down below our navel. Such a long endurance run as we expanded, now we get to contract! (slowly.) We are *so* in love with this color scheme and it's exactly what we need for Method.

Ooh, we< can finally do this! This absolute *beast* of a project is one of our most intense patterns, with one of the most luxurious yarns (that has the best story) that we've ever had the pleasure of working up. It looks better dry, but we haven't taken a photo of it while not wearing it? Huh.

Our Wingspan, done in pink and gray fingering weight baby alpaca/silk blend yarn, blocked and laid out on a haphazard grid of blocking mats (we only had one set, don't judge!)

Progress update: about half length on the front panel (progress gets slower as the work enlarges.)

20 ish rounds into this pattern and going strong! The chevron form of the chest panel is expanding and its total length is nearing 10" of an intended 19".
