Watching a new ‘shoot ‘em up’ tv series and the title card for a future ep spoiled that someone survives and I’m actually glad. They’re a great supporting character and I’d have been pissed if they’d killed them off.

Update: Brady had a toe amputated. The biopsy came back and it was found to be cancerous. But it looks like they got everything. Vet said this was the best possible outcome, aside from not having cancer. They doubt it will come back. He's back to his old self

Took Brady to the Vet Monday morning. His bandages were removed and not replaced . He is still very careful of it but i can tell he’ll be walking like normal soon.

When they wrapped his foot after the surgery, they pinned the dew claw to the leg. This subsequently caused him to scratch the leg under the bandage, creating a sore. They fixed it—hopefully—when we went back and they checked his surgery and re-wrapped it. Pissed me off.

I got Brady to take his meds with relatively little trouble this AM. Not the same in the PM when he gets his new antibiotics. He’s decided he doesn’t like them and I have trouble getting him to swallow the pills.

A couple of days ago a reader on book threads asked writers not to use unusual words. A day later, a writer defended that, even saying taking the OP to task was ableist. The next day another reader asked if the phrase “far and away” was a typo. smdh

Brady’s meds have put him off his kibble, so I feed him his meds with chunky peanut butter and mix in kibble. Then to get him to eat more, I add chicken to his food in a powdered peanut butter mix.
