Mind boggling at the new list of Royal Warrant suppliers published by Buckingham Palace. Building services, champagne, horse feed, no surprise. But also - recorded telephone messages, potted shrimps, and kilt hosiery? Also several different pest controllers - do they have a mouse problem?

So. Farewell then, second half of the Pensions Review. Instead, how about we have a full cross-party review of financial provision, or lack of it, for later life? Including housing wealth and funding for long term care? Because that’s what’s urgently needed.
