UI improvements on mobile would be nice. Line inputs feel bad on mobile (cant move cursor easily, no support for native QoL-features like paste, auto-fill code). Admittedly a substantial amount of work - was able to solve this in our iOS-project with a custom (hacky) plugin.

Detect trapped player, last block to fall gets auto-destroyed. Even if it’s normally not breakable. Then it becomes a feature - skilled players create the situation intentionally to break unbreakable blocks. Achievement unlocked.

I tend to give GIMP a go every 5 years or so - every time I’ve noped out pretty quickly. Currently using Affinity for my needs, but was impressed by the later versions of Inkscape too.

TIL that Apple does not allow apps to be downgraded in terms of versioning. Accidentally pushed out version 8.0.15 of our app instead of 0.8.15 yesterday - whoops! 🤦‍♂️ I guess this will be our new version format going forward. #gamedev #godotengine

Wordnerd 3D has an admin tool that lets us inspect games, turn by turn. This helped me fix a really nasty bug related to how the server draws tiles from the tile bag. Handy! The game is out on iOS now - check it out if you like word games! apps.apple.com/app/id675506... #godot #three.js #webdev

Did this too on my MacBook with 256GB space (rip). It quickly fills up again with some use, I think. A bunch of apps cache a lot of stuff, it turns out. Good to wipe it every once in a while.
