Mistake because I really don't have the time and especially not the money for a TCG that's being scalped... Good because I found a store close by to play and it's loaded with awesome people.

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Good mistakes were made... I'm getting into the Palworld TCG... Not going to really try and play the meta as Chillet's are expensive and I don't see that meta as fun (but it is definitely the meta). So I'm having fun with a night time strat. I want to make a Digtoise deck... and a Pengullet deck...

If I suddenly seem to not be online anymore around the same time ID verification is more so enforced... That's the reason why.

000

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

And I can't really do it solo even though it's "only" level 6 because I don't have the equipment I'd need to complete it.... XD;;

000

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Hate that I did it, but also am loving that I did. Made a second Helldiver's account just so I could level things up again. Been kinda wild, but now I'm "stuck" because I have a lvl 6 defence mission I want to complete, but no one can randomly join to help as the planet is liberated...

I really just should stop over all. It never works out whether I'm sober or not... Should just take the hint finally xD;;

000

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

I really wish I was better at being social in general... That is all at the moment as I don't know how to express things on here or in general

100

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

First dumb thought. Love Helldivers 2, but I'm at the point where all I'm doing is waiting for the next warbond, and trying to get weapons to their max level with all of their attachments unlocked. Have been thinking about buying the game again, but playing 100% "f2p" and enjoying leveling up again.

000

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

Still don't really know what I'm doing here, but think I want to try and make myself post like... daily, at least? So dumb thoughts ahead most likely. Like in the reply to myself here as I realize as I typed it out, I put too many words into thoughts for these posts 8|

Well hello there~ My name is Lance and I'm terrible at remembering to do social things on a social website, and am also terrible at being social. ... Hope you're having a lovely morning/day/evening~! lol

040

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

Really sorry about not getting back to you sooner... but I looked around a bit and couldn't find it, so I either still have it tucked away somewhere or gave it to someone else... I do hope still you'll be able to resolve this easily!

100

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

Also yes, I did report the account before they blocked me... So hopefully the account either gets banned, or returned to the rightful owner since it wasn't a brand new account.

000

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 27/05/2026

I don't often gaslight people... But when I do, it's because they "reported my DA account accidentally and in order for the report to be canceled I need to contact DA support on Discord." Too bad I'm so very very old and don't know how discord works or what it is. If only I knew~ xD

110

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Okay XD I wasn't sure how well versed you were with system building, but turns out we've been building for about the same length of time lol. But AM4 was pretty popular over all, so finding a new motherboard even second hand shouldn't be too hard.

010

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Yeah, 750w should be more than enough... But damn, if it's the motherboard chipset... that's not an cheap and easy fix...

100

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Paws crossed for you that it keeps working; 7700 is literally 2 generations newer, so not surprised it feels really good. It's so strange that it's giving you issues like this... I'm kinda curious if maybe the psu isn't powerful enough? It wants a bit more than a 5700 on paper.

100

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Looking online, it's not much better, but it's more of a side-grade. But I won't know if I still have it or not until I get home in about 3-4 hours. Sorry to hear that it's still giving you trouble after so much troubleshooting...

100

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Is this still an issue with you? Read a few of your other posts saying you got it to... well... post, but seeing how you requoted this, my guess it isn't resolved? I'll have to double check tonight when I get home, but I might have a 3060 I'm not using. Not much of an improvement over a 5700XT tho

Happy Paw Day to those that celebrate it~!

Taking "Air Jail" to the extreme xD

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 12/05/2026

Ever so slowly trying to get myself to be online and "social". Poking peoples for arts, chatting in general, and hoping to do more of both with more people~ Maybe some day I'll be able to call myself active again lol Also, we have a cat now; he's an Orange that came with the name Kingsley~

040

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 02/09/2025

Damn… well, at least it’s one option marked off the list. Hope you’re able to find it again some day!

The only thing that comes to mind for me is the “Big Thinker” games from ‘97? Never played them myself, but that’s what I thought of right away. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Thi...

Sadly, don’t have an x account anymore, so I’ll just have to try and keep my eyes on it. Thanks for the advice and info though~! I’ll relay the same to him in the hopes one of us will catch something~

110

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 06/05/2025

My partner is crying at how beautiful they are, and I'm now somewhat tempted to try and collect whatever set he's not collecting... How long ago was the pre-order for these guys, and how much am I going to cry trying to get them?

110

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 05/05/2025

Well, thank goodness then that I'm only an old white man, as I'll echo that the Clone Wars era is my favorite~ ... Though truthfully I don't know as much as I'd like about it, as I haven't been able to dive deep into it in years...

140

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 25/02/2025

Well shit... Now I feel like I should probably buy anything that I come across, which I know only makes the problem even worse for others OTL Really hope Pokemon gets their act together and just puts the printing presses in overdrive soon. Not like they'd lose any money over it...

000

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 25/02/2025

This set too!?! My gawd... My boyfriend will never be able to catch a break, as he first wanted to collect the new prismatic evolutions set, then 151 since it was being reprinted, and then decided on this one because of the ninetails in it... Every one of those sets are suddenly just gone everywhere

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

Rip Dauntless. Loved playing the game since beta; missing the alpha by days. Played almost daily up until maybe a year ago when they stopped putting out content cosmetic wise. Then with their most recent update, they were doomed to fail… Will really miss the game; hoping for private servers.

Nice! Not sure what ones he has left, but all I’m missing is Black 2, and Heart Gold~ don’t have boxes for most of them though. And yeah; that’s what has me thinking about collecting again since they’re cheeper. Actually found a sealed Jap Jungle pack in a box of cards and wonder what I should do.

100

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 08/02/2025

I decided to do that with the mainline Pokémon cartridges, and I’m down to two left… and then I started thinking “what about the Japanese ones too? They’re cheeper than the English ones.” Lol. Think you’ll just do English or any interest in other languages?

110

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 07/02/2025

I've been out of the game for a long time, but my boyfriend is trying to collect them now... It blows my mind how bad the scalping is and bad the product deployment is. I went to three tabletop shops and all 3 said they don't do pre-orders anymore because they never get what they ask for anymore.

watch out for this! for folks who don't know: - windows+R opens the run window which lets you run any program - ctrl+V pastes so this puts some malicious command on your clipboard, then convinces you to run it yourself. don't.

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 05/02/2025

And sadly, all I was met with was “preorders are full” or “we don’t do them anymore due to limited stock”… so looks like extra waiting or scalpers if he wants them asap.

100

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

Sadly I haven't logged in there for a long while, and don't really plan to since I barely use Bluesky lol. But thanks! I'll have to hit up my local gamestop and see what I can do... Probably hit up the local tabletop games shop too and see if they'd sell for msrp. Fingers crossed!

000

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

So thanks to this comment I only just learned about the new set, and my boyfriend is really going to want that etb... where were you able to preorder at msrp if I may ask? I've been out of the buying new cards game for quite some time... Haven't collected since the Black and White sets...

110

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

Damn. Glad you don't have to worry about that as then they'd probably want you to retroactively pay all of the fees that weren't paid, but that's about the extent of my knowledge about it. I do hope that you're able to figure out what's going on!

000

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

Elves in general are always competitive feeling xD My squirrel deck is just a modified version of the Bloomburrow precon, but it was fun to play the other night. It got stomped every time, and I sort of know what I need to swap around to make it work better, but it was pretty fun over all~

010

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

I don't, but my first guess is if someone sent you funds and labeled it as "Friends and Family" instead of something business related, it doesn't get added in to that document. Happened to my stepfather but the other way around; his kids were sending him their parts of the rent, but not as family.

100

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 31/01/2025

Well I'm going to try me some Commander tonight with people I've (mostly) never met before! I'm terrified 8D But I remember it over all being fun with friends, so I hope it's not a competitive bunch and that my deck doesn't come across as competitive... Playing a Black/Green Squirrel deck lol

Planning on going out and being social after work today in a public social setting... I literally haven't done this since late 2019.... And it's to play Magic: The Gathering... a card game that I haven't played properly since 2006-ish..... I'm sure everything will be fiiiiiiiiine~

Lance @lancedoggo.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

Oh trust me; I’m feeling the burn xD; It’s why I haven’t streamed anything in basically 3 months now, as even though I kinda have my weekends back, all I want to do is just lay back and relax. Doing what I can to keep myself cared for otherwise though.

Dude if you get art for free from an artist friend, that shit is a gem. Like, treasure it, because that time and effort went 100% into making you happy. Don't take it for granted, man. And please, for the love of god, don't like... abuse that relationship.

My hat off to those that work more than 8 hours a day… I say again: I’ve been working every day since the 11th for anywhere between 10 and 14 hours a day with a one hour drive in one direction… Stuff is hella rough and I wish this pain/stress on no one.
